i've been pondering......with this new "push" to direct individuals to thw jw.org website, even when the dubs are out preaching...what do you think the future will be for the preaching work?.
some time ago i read that the mormons have implemented a live chat feature that allows you to speak with their missionaries....i doubt the borg would do this, but i think they have something up their sleeves.. peace.

@wasblind did you have math at school? There are 7,5 million witnesses. A lot of them are part of families.. so lets say 2,9 million families.
Nowadays way more than 1.000.000 people visit JW.ORG each day and each of them looks at the average 10 pages per visit. Many of those witnesses in the world do not even have internet access/broadband at their homes as we have.
Anyway its obvious that it cant be the sheep only.

@comatose it means that most of the visitors came there by typing in the address that they saw on literature, tracts, business cards or by qr code

@konceptual you ask yourself why they do not use the media? they dont need to do so , if they use mass media , it will be there own.

sites as alexa.com and statscrop.com indicate that only about 10% of the visitors of JW.ORG do come there due to a search on google or yahoo or a site like that. 90% do come there directly because of typing in the url adress

i have a number of problems with the noah's ark story that i could never find the answer to in the bible and so i thought i could ask here:.
1.how did noah get animals that are indigenous to areas he could not get to (e,g penguins, koalas, kangaroos, moose etc) .
2.the flood supposedly happened around 4000 years ago but there is evidence of civilisation dating back a lot further.
@galaxie you belong to a number of people who believe that , for example, ressurrections also have not taken place, that egypt did not see ten plagues, that we had not one language in babel and so on.
Thats the difference between you and me i believe that there is an almighty force and intelligent being that can do things we as humans cant comprehend.
btw... read the bible account, the reservoir did not fill up in 40 days.

i'm writing my first post here :) long story short, i feel like i'm making a somehow huge effort to be a jw so i started to wish to take a break from the usual jw activities.
here i am making one step further, i guess .. so, what could be , let's say, the strongest reason for you not to date a girl that isn't a jw?
aand eventually going to the next base.
the strongest reason for bible believers should be the bible... and the people of Israel. What were the instructions for them concerning girls? Why were they instructed not to marry girls from other nations/religions?

for an almighty God it would be peanuts to use that 'hidden' water

Writing in the journal Nature, scientists said they had found an elusive mineral pointing to the existence of a vast reservoir deep in Earth's mantle, 400 to 600 kilometres beneath our feet.
It may hold as much water as all the planet's oceans combined, they believe.
