a team of doctors, medicines and nurses is also there since last tuesday, and some trucks with relief goods are also on their way.

by stillin innot being a very technical sort of person, i don't know what it is that makes the "results" from a web search change from day to day, but i have noticed this site sometimes on the first ten "results" and another time very close to the first "results.".
today it is the third result offered on my google search.
first is the official jw website.

@comatose you dont have to believe me as long as i know that it is not a lie. A few facebook contacts chattering are no representative view on how 8 million witnesses behave. Besides that a lot of them dont even have computers, internet and so on.
And it also makes no sense to check a site everyday if they only do some minor updates a few times a month.

Emergency relief fund for the Philippines. How will it work.
by joe134cd ini was just thinking it will be interesting to see how the wts emergency relief fund will operate in the philippines.
ok it worked well with the storm in florida, with cashing in on the insurance cheques.
sorry to generalize, but americans have the disposable income, and the insurance polices for things like this - a thing the wtbts finds very attractive.

Super Typhoon Haiyan Pummels Central Philippines
MANILA, Philippines—Super Typhoon Haiyan (called Yolanda in the Philippines), one of the strongest storms ever to make landfall, ripped through the Philippines on November 8, 2013.
As of November 13, 2013, the Philippines branch office of Jehovah’s Witnesses in Manila reported that 27 Witnesses have been confirmed dead. Well over 100 homes of the Witnesses and five places of worship were destroyed.
The Governing Body of Jehovah’s Witnesses is coordinating the international disaster response from their world headquarters in Brooklyn, New York. As part of these arrangements, the Philippines branch office has been making efforts to deliver food, water, medicine, and other supplies into the affected areas. By Sunday, November 10, about ten vans filled with relief supplies had been delivered, with additional trucks being dispatched the following day.
The region has had little time to recover from the magnitude-7.2 earthquake that shook the Philippines on October 15, 2013, killing 218 people. Reports indicate that the massive quake claimed the lives of three of Jehovah’s Witnesses, one in a landslide and two more when their homes collapsed. The earthquake came on the heels of Typhoon Nari, which struck the Philippines on October 12, 2013, killing at least 13 people.
The Governing Body of Jehovah’s Witnesses cares for expenses related to their relief efforts by utilizing funds donated to their worldwide work. The Governing Body also assesses the need for skilled volunteers, and works with their global network of branch offices to provide qualified personnel to assist with disaster relief work in cooperation with local authorities and other relief agencies.
Dean Jacek, a spokesman for Jehovah’s Witnesses in the Philippines, stated: “We are all deeply grieved over the extensive loss of life caused by these recent catastrophes. There is a great need for comfort in view of the destruction as well as the trauma to the victims. We will continue to do our best to provide ongoing relief and spiritual assistance to our friends and neighbors.”

@Simon Alexa keeps count of National ranking lists and global ranking lists. The US is also included in the global ranking list. The stats for JWN at alexa just tell us that within the United states of America there are more websites more popular than JWN.
Since you have a more international audience the global ranking is higher than many national rankings but at the same time it means that in some countries your website is ranked high.
ranking of JWN in the UK is 21,641
ranking in Romania is 2,931
ranking in the Philipines 10,989

@DATA-DOG i know for sure nothing is paid to Google or any other search engine. I know this from first hand info. Its a policy, they dont do advertising or promotions. They promote their own stuff. They have better things to do with money.
But besides that just visit google and study how search results are produced. Also ask yourself why in other languages JW.ORG is not no.1 on the list in google (i mean if they had paid they would pop up there too as no.1). So again just read the google rules on how search results are produced. You will see that it is based on relevancy and traffic. Check Alexa.com or Statscrop.com to get an indication of the traffic towards JW.ORG. Out of 50 million websites monitored by them JW.ORG is ranked about nr2000 of the worlds best visited sites.
That means they get a lot of traffic a day. Combined with certain keywords/adwords this gives them a high ranking.

Christadelphians (Christ brothers/Sisters)
by Rip inin my plan to exit the jw i thought it would be good if i adhere to another faith group, not cultish as the jw but non trinitarian.. this is decided for the sake of my children (two sons)'s spritual safety.
i researched the internet and in the non trinitarian groups i found these christadelphian.

9. They do not stress the door-to-door work, rightly viewing it as grossly inefficient for proselylising.
Ah so that must be the reason why (although the religion of the christadelphians is older) there are about 50,000-60,000 (active and inactive) of them walking on the surface of the earth compared with 'only' 7,8 million JW active publishers and 19 million JW visitors.

@jeffro the 6% growth was the percentage of growth of just one year, last year. But you can check more yearbooks and see that their growth after the earthquake is high
