  i thought i would start this thread going , always feel the need to brag on my kids.

  i guess it makes me so proud that they are living the normal life that so many of us didnt get to have.

  my son is a sophmore this year and is playing football again this year.

  the second school, and why it sucked monkey nostrils to be a sister back there giving a talk.. you would think, no sweat, smaller crowd, less pressure.

  My brother, the twit, volunttered do do a sisters talk (skit) when someone didn;t show up. I got to be the other girl, no script, no card, no ferkin practice. Worst 5 minutes of my life.

  The bible readings came in about 6 months before I did the Harold, only did it once. That was enough.

  to be honest, i feel like i barely qualify as an ex-dub.

  wasn't raised in it, no relatives in it, and aside from my first one or two years of being involved with it, i didn't believe much of it.

  but at the point where i first started having doubts creep in, instead of investigating those doubts, i turned off my brain.

  New World Order

  i was interested in the term "new world order" and how there seemed to be a frenzy among the witnesses when george bush started using the term.

  (just as there are heightened expectations and even panic at moments throughtout 'our time' at certain world events, and gossip fires up, if not in the pages of the watchtower, at least among witnesses and given from the platform.

  at this site: http://www.btinternet.com/~meirionhughes/pub/newworldorder.htm i found an interesting list of quotes about "the new world order" from throughout history and it made very interesting reading.
