god dam jw's want to have all the constatutional freedoms . but will not to a thing to up hold them.
Not a dammed thing other than complain. They fight for freedoms in a world 'ruled by satan'... they speak with rulers who are under the DIRECT rule of satan himself... if you read what the WTBTS says... yet want help and whine when they do not get it.
Truly pathetic and hypocritical.... maybe some apologist can make it make sense for all those lurkers out there in internet land... but don't count on it.

Aug 1 WT says Rutherford "Strong yet Humble"
by trumangirl ini just had to post this quote from a box on the first study article - "jehovah reveals his glory to humble ones".
august 1st 2004.. strong yet humble.
at the 1919 cedar point, ohio, usa, convention of the bible students (known today as jehovah's witnesses), 50-year-old j f rutherford, who was then overseeing the work, gladly volunteered as a bellhop, carying luggage and escorting conventioners to their rooms.

On the last day of the convention, he electrified the audience of 7,000 with the words: "You are an ambassador of the King of kings and Lord of lords, announcing to the people . . . the glorious kingdom of our Lord."
yeah, says who?
If there is one thing that I DESPISE and HATE is those cheezy "experiences".... if I had to sit in a kingdumb hall and listen to that dramatized bullshit I would puke.
I believe that it happened that way like aliens fly out of my ass.

INDUCE Act Just Introduced into US Senate
by Euphemism insenator orrin hatch has just introduced a bill into the us senate which would criminalize any product or service that "intentionally aids [or] abets" copyright infringement.
the bill is directed against p2p download services, but the language is so broad that it could easily be interpreted to outlaw ipods, cd burners, and even vcrs.
that worst case scenario is unlikely to happen.

I live in Canada; U.S. laws do not affect us here... however, I would expect to see the same legislation here eventually.

Abortion...
by Lostreality inwrong or right?.
right to choose, or murder?.
what is everyones point of view?.

I have no right to tell a woman what to do with her body, end of story. I don't know all the facts, and care not. Women can choose for themselves... nobody should choose for them.
Some women suffer terribly when they abort... they have feelings of guilt. I know that someone out there reading this thread will be upset by it; please don't. Nothing can be done now, and guilt will eat a hole right through your heart.
