How about"
ON SEPTEMBER 11, IN NEW YORK CITY, THE HEADQUARTERS OF JEHOVAHS WITNESSES SHUT THEY'RE DOORS AND REFUSED TO HELP THOSE IN NEED. SHAME ON YOU!
i have in the past used signs at conventions and kh that are embarasing to the jws because they bring the mind control mentality of the jws to the fore things that the witnesses shy away from on initial calls with people because they haven't been indoctrinated yet.
these thing the jw will acknowledge as true,, but not in exact the words i use.
i think these type of signs are effective because they will make some jw's think.. .

Excellent idea!!!
Kill them with they're own words. I am pretty impressed. Hell, I would even have one of those signs around my neck. I may even put in one of they're pictures for added effect.
sooner or later every jehovah's witness encounters an intelligent person with facts at their disposal who can unload something that causes a doubt.
naturally, you defend against it.
but, the wind has been knocked out of your belief-system however briefly.
I just remember that the talks were the same old thing, same old thing, no, no, you musn't tire of them... keep paying attention... heaping guilt upon guilt... finally when I became sick physically and emotionally, I knew that something was wrong, wrong, wrong. I seeked out help for my depression, and common sense took over once I got that haze out of my head.
I would have to say the one thing that really clicked for me was this Sunday talk about personal hygene. It was literally a waste of 1 hour. It was the most stupidest, ignorant, dumbass talk I had ever heard.
When I left I was quite pissed off, and thought that something was seriously wrong with the way I was living my life.
my question is this,.
and she loves me as well.
however i was baptised as a catholic as a child.

But i want her to be happy and not have to choose between her family, myself and our beliefs. How do i make things right to get there blessings
There is no way unless you become a baptized witness. No loopholes, not funny buisiness, nothing. Once you're in, you're in baby! And woe to you if you ever question they're beliefs. You'll be out on your ass, so to speak.
There are plenty of other fish in the sea. You can either take this one with lots of baggage, or throw it back and get another one. And when I mean baggage, I mean laced with problems that will probably haunt you for the rest of your life.
Good luck on your decision. But don't take some idiot's advice over the internet as absolute truth, either.
i hadn't seen them in about the last 3 yrs.
my son is torn between obeying the wbts and wanting to see me.
he stayed most of the day and we went out for lunch.
or you will never see them again. It's something that is difficult to accept, but accept it you must. If you start a tyrade about the WTBTS, they will flee from you like you're the devil.
Glad that you saw your son again.
are you a bit on the oversensitive side or can you let things easily roll off your back?
Yes, KLS, that's who you are, but until this moment I only knew that you were a woman married to a man who is a dub, nothing more. This place is nothing but silly user names, avatars, and selective revelations of ourselves. It's only natural that we try to filter out what we don't want people to know, or see about ourselves.
What you are on this forum and what you are percieved as are two completely different things. If I went to an 'apostafest', I'd be far far far different than the argumentative and sometimes blunt person here. That's just an example that I use on myself, so as not to offend some who post here.

On the board, I think we all at times get a little touchy. There are REAL people here.
I disagree. Most posters here are what they want to be percieved as, not who they really are. True, they are real people, who post from they're home PC's. To meet someone in real life you will probably find that they are much different than any 'personality' you will find here.
i may have an important idea!
(beginner's luck).. what if we all (and i mean every last one of us; big numbers of people) wrote a scathing and precise petition or letter of protest (as an open letter) to the governing body of jehovah's witnesses and released it to the press on a slow news day with lots of fanfare?.
we would "call out" the rascals in no uncertain terms citing our grievances (like the founding fathers to george iii) and enumerating our personal suffering under the policies we want changed.. the list would include setting themselves up as little dictators speaking in god's name and issuing papal decrees upon penalty of excommunication.. we could demand apologies for stealing the future of children born to jw families who lose the happiness of childhood through worthless pharisaic adherence to blind rules such as no birthdays, christmas, easter, holidays in general, etc.
I'm in, but notice how many people have responded to this thread?
Sorry to say, but this place is all talk, and no do. Many others have had suggestions that were brilliant only to leave bewildered by the lack of enthusiasm. There is even a place here where 'campaign ideas' are 'discussed', yet nothing is discussed, because nobody gets behind anything, and nobody is invited in, because there's nobody in there!
Not to mention that the Watchtower is reading your thread right now.
i?m not sure where to begin in this story about my landlord, however i am sure that you will all be entertained by my plight.
in the spring of 2002 i started dating a guy named bruce that we met online.
he was sweet, intelligent and employed, and we hit it off soon.
P.S.
Check out the show 'There's Something About Mary' and check out the scene when he picks up the hitchhiker. Four minute abs!
