  court tv is televising the longo trial, he was a disfellowshipped jw that killed his family in oregon last year.

  i emailed them about my experience, my daughter completed suicide after the elders threatened to disfellowship her.

  i also mentioned the bryant family murder suicides in oregon, the husband was disfellowshipped and in a desperate financial situation like longo about 18 months ago.. court tv excepts emails from viewers and sometimes airs them.

  I think what they mean, is that it wouldn't give your cause justice. This guy is not representative of the people who have been hurt by the organisation, like yourselves. I think your e-mail idea is good but you should dress it up so it focuses on the victims, which this guy was not. I'm not saying he wasn't influenced by his religious upbringing, but a guy who kills his wife and kids then goes partying in Mexico with a babe definitely doesn't sound like a victim to me.

  Do JW's eat meat that contains blood?

  when i joined the jw's in 1987 a jw friend always bought a special brand of pepperoni when he made pizza, because he knew that brand was approved by elders and had no blood in it.

  many witnesses i know seem to eat anything they want, and don't even look at the labels anymore.

  is it possible to eat red meat and eat no blood?.

  Thanks Nathan....and LOL....cause when I was writing that, I thought someone would reply "it's right with the salt in the grocery store". I hope it has recipies in the back....LOL....my cooking is disastrous.

  Final straw?....it was more like a roll in the hay for me....lol

  In my head, at that time, I assumed Jehovah had lost favour with me, thus gave up.

  Same here Razor.....

  It's not our fault if us Canadians only have beer and sex to keep us warm during those long winter nights.....and they can be long.....the nights that is....

  If there is a point to get from the bible in regards to meat and blood, it is to bleed your kill. That's it. Which is what you normally do anyway when you kill an animal for food.

  From what I read here, the witnesses are on overkill and delude themselves into thinking they can remove all blood from the meat, besides they're missing the point. Sure, maybe if I was a witness and heard that a certain company fails to bleed their animals, I would opt for something else, but to go to the extent of trying to decipher food labels, is in my opinion fanatism.

  The responsibility lies in the one doing the kill, not the one eating the meat.

  Hey Yeru...what's up?....

  The Kosher salt....where do I buy it? It sounded tasty when you said it, and when it comes to food and cooking I really don't have the talent.

  I like the layout of your avatar, gives it a 3d feel....(a little too much on the patriotic side to my liking though....LOL). Now how much is that photo shoot gonna cost us guys? Or are you running for president?
