  something i've been thinking about the last few days....

  i was sitting at one of the talks at the kh earlier last week, and the speaker said something about apostates.

  normally i don't listen, but that word rings in my ears when i hear it.

  he said apostates will tell you they love jehovah and want to do what he wants, but rejects his organization.

  yesterday i received a flyer in the mail from the seventh-day adventists.

  i knew that the witnesses were theologically an adventist group, of course.

  but i had no idea how similar they were in their proselytizing pitch.

  i go to get my drivers license renewed today and wouldn't you know.. a jw waited on me.. she was looking at my address and saying about how the assembly hall is right there... yada yada yada.. i paused for a second wondering if i should pretend to be a jw still.. i mean i needed my license.. and i was a little concerned she was going to push for proof of insurance (which i forgot to bring with me).. so i wanted to be on her good side.. then it dawned on me.....i had checked the box about registering to vote.......

  exnay on the pretending to be a jw still..

  then i thought i could say my mom was a jw.. a pioneer even..

  although i am not a fan of so-called 'reality' tv, i have been following "the apprentice" quite closely.

  so tonight is the showdown, the finale.

  I think omarosa was just a plain slimeball tonight. I think she cost kwambe the spot he deserved. I loved when trump put her on the spot, she is just a sucky person all around.

  Then there are the people who see the exterior look of happiness of JWs. They are usually upset over something terrible that has happened to them and they see the pretty and happy looking JWs and find them very attractive. They are hoping this pretty and happy "thing" about JWs will make their own life more pretty and happy.

  "Because They're A Cult"........

  yesterday, a business associate asked me why jws would not celebrate a birthday, a bar mitzvah, or any other holiday.

  he asked why they literally believed only 144,000 go to heaven.

  he asked how they could celebrate everything 1 year and the next year, tell their families that everything is pagan........my answer to all of his questions, were "it's because they're a cult.

  Its because at meetings they continually deny that they are a cult, and list reasons why not. When I first started coming here i didnt believe they were a cult, but after examining evidence I have clearly changed my mind.
