What would you say to a...
by confusedandalone inbuddhist / hindu / rastafarian / pagan etc... if they came to you and said in my homeland we have our own gods who is completely different from yours and most of his teachings are contradictory or atleast different from yours.
do you thyink that my gods from my homeland that were worshipped for thousands of years are fake?.

Just noticed something else that proves the Bible is made up.
by BU2B inexodus 9 then the lord said to moses, go to pharaoh and say to him, this is what the lord, the god of the hebrews, says: let my people go, so that they may worship me.
2if you refuse to let them go and continue to hold them back, 3the hand of the lord will bring a terrible plague on your livestock in the fieldon your horses, donkeys and camels and on your cattle, sheep and goats.
4but the lord will make a distinction between the livestock of israel and that of egypt, so that no animal belonging to the israelites will die.?.

I remember passing this particular thread in her direction months back and she read over it and she agreed with some of it - but she did not really dwell on it. Then about a month or so later she was talking to my uber JW mom and and she quoted this exact same freaking piece of bullshit to her. My wife went the hell off on her. She was irate because the lie was presented to her by a real person! She stayed how from the meetings finding tons of these little points and wrote them down. She tells me later that this was a turning point in her really listening to what I was saying and opening her eyes to what they were saying in the hall.
Then the invitro mag came out and she became a ranting apostate

I think you should definitely spend more time with that psychologist because if your heart is telling you things there is something far worse than PSD you are dealing with.

What's your take on UNITARIAN UNIVERSALISTS?
by Black Man innot looking for another religion as i'm completely atheist at this point, but the uu's do seem to have a community spirit about them and don't seem to be so cultish.
i lived across from one of their churches (before my recent move) and went to one of their services.
it didn't have the rigidity of the dubs, and seemed to be somewhat open minded.

I have attended 2 of their gatherings. Generally speaking they seemed like good people. THey inquiried of my Pantheistic beliefs and were intrigued. LOL
There was an atheist there and he had been attending for a few years which I found shocking... but I was their so I guess it should not have been a surprise.

Well BUB2 prior to this wassnt the punishment for being disrespectful to your parents digging a hole so that only your childs head was out of it and then everyone pelt them to death with stones. Just imagine how happy GOD was watching those kids getting hit in the bridge of the nose with rocks and watching their brains slowly leak out. MUST HAVE BEEN GREAT
