Please no where in that account of Matthew 18 that elders were mentioned. Emphasis on your use of elders
having been a victim of this practice twice, i thought i would see if others had the same experience.
on one occassion, i was before the elders being told i was drunk on a certain day at a certain time.
( this was only brought up because when i was pushing for a meeting because of elder mr x adultery , i was threatened somethings would be brought out about me if i persued the meeting.

i don’t understand how jehovah’s witnesses can rightly claim:.
that less than 150,000 faithful christians existed prior to the 20th century....when allegedly millions were martyred during the first 3 centuries of the common era alone.
unique ability to interpret scripture...when interpretation of prophecy has been 100% wrong for over 130 years.. .
@ joao to simply apply their own standards of judging others will lead to their own detriment.
1. What makes a religion right is its total adherence to God’s Word. Whether our religion meets this criterion or not can only be determined by open-mindedly comparing it with the Bible.... Awake 1984
Jehovah’s witnesses cannot afford to be open minded. It goes against the set up of obeying and following directions that doesn't make sense from human point of view
2. Certainly such an important matter as our worship of God should not be determined for us by the coincidence of where we were born.....Awake 1984
Does not apply within the realms of authority of the GB.
3. After all, the child born to Catholic parents has had no more control over this fact than the child born to Muslim parents controls that..... Awake 1984
I still wonder why the writer of this article cannot use JEHOVAH’S WITNESSES in the place of Muslims since their arch enemy is the Catholic. Why?

However, when the fulfillment of our expectations appears to be delayed, it may dampen our enthusiasm. We could even lose heart. (Prov. 13:12) This happened at the beginning of the 20th century. At that time, many anointed Christians expected to receive their heavenly reward in 1914. When that did not happen, how did faithful ones deal with their delayed expectations?... Watchtower August 2019 study article 31 paragraph 9
Where did the scripture or Bible ever states the anointed one will receive reward in 1914?
Who promised such a reward in 1914?
Who made the anointed one be in expectation in 1914?
Yet Jesus returned in 1914 spiritually 😂😂😂😂
In fact the remnant of the anointed according to WTBTS still remaining on the earth were not cleaned or free from babylon the great until until 1919.
and according to Vander......
This was in 1927. In that year the witnesses understood that the dead spiritual Israelites had been raised in 1918 to life in heaven with Christ Jesus. It was an invisible resurrection, of course." From Paradise Lost to Paradise Regained p.192

That the last days in Acts 2:17 is different from 2 Timothy 3:1😂😂😂😂😂😂
That they cannot see the TAUTOLOGY in MINISTERIAL SERVANT despite their arrogant theological scholarship 😂😂😂
thursday while i was at work, a new elder stopped by the house (almost 3 years after fading) to encourage us to go back to meetings.
said everyone misses us.
if you did, why not stop by and say hi every now and then?
@ Judgerusellford
Do well to get us a recording of your conversation with them. It might be of use or one to listen to.
Regarding DA
It all boils down to personal decision as it suits the circumstances and situation.
Were you a slave when you were called? Don't let it trouble you--although if you can gain your freedom, do so.(even by DA).
22
For he who was a slave when he was called by the Lord is the Lord's freedman; similarly, he who was a free man when he was called is Christ's slave.
23
You were bought at a price; do not become slaves of men.(even by DA)
24
Brothers, each man, as responsible to God, should remain in the situation God called him to.(even by DA)
Since they see DA and DF as same I rather let them remain in their judgemental mindset of grouping DA as those who they states in their manuals.......
"Of course, contact should not be made with active apostates, with those who are trying to lead others into sin, or with those who have made it known that they want nothing to do with the Christian congregation."
After all...... Whoever exercises faith in him is not to be judged. Whoever does not exercise faith has been judged already, because he has not exercised faith in the name of the only-begotten Son of God.
What right do they have to call others
1. Those who lead others to sin?
2. Apostates?
3. Those who have nothing to do with the Christian congregation?

3. on the other hand, some brothers and sisters—younger and in good health—have more favorable circumstances that may allow them to attend christian meetings regularly at the kingdom hall.
From the letter...... Can I put forth greater effort to worship Jehovah in person?
When members are sitting in the comfort of their homes and connect to the meetings it is not ENOUGH effort to be seen as worshipping Jehovah in person. That person must attend the KINGDOM HALLS as confirmation that they are indeed worshipping God in person.
LEGALISM at its best.
Jesus words in John 4. holds no meaning here :Jesus said to her: “Believe me, woman, the hour is coming when neither on this mountain nor in Jerusalem will you worship the Father.
Cheers once again Atlantis

more accurately known as a reversal of a long held 'truth.'.
september 2022 study watchtower - par.
14 p. 18 - "in the past, we understood jesus’ words to refer to the deeds the resurrected ones will practice after their resurrection; that is, some will come to life and practice good things while others will come to life and practice vile things.
The doctrinal change is laughable.
Issue 1 from the article: In the past, we understood
Who are the WE?
1. The Governing body of Jehovah's.
2. The members who are going to PARROT what they didn't understand in the first place.
Issue 2 from the article: That makes sense, does it not?
Nothing really make sense in the first place. The members only have to obey and get indoctrinated. After all
1. even those teachings and directions that does not make sense are meant to be obeyed and adhered to.
2. The members never had the opportunity or say in doing or deciding what makes sense or not.
