i was df'd a number of years ago.
my parents never shunned me - they didn't feel that df'ing broke the family ties.
but when my brothers or uncle were in town i was "allowed" to come visit at certain times when their other jw friends would not be around.

Thanks for starting this thread for the sake of all whom are currently under this situation. I hope more will respond and share their experiences.
My own? I've stopped bombarding my spouse with all the facts, this keeps the peace but I'm not making any progress in getting him out and I don't know what else to do. It's a very frustrating place to be, it feels so helpless.

I recall reading somewhere that Hitler was half Jew. I've even wondered if maybe his hatred for the Jews may have stemmed from his hatred toward his father. If I ever run into any reliable reference to it, I'll forward it on.
I find it very hard to believe he never had a drop of alcohol. They sure did find plenty of it in his home after the war.

Man, while most of you were already out or on your way out I was just getting sucked in!!
I started studying about Sep-Oct of 1995 so when that whole "New light on The Generation" thing came out I was clueless, definately #1. No one cared to really explain it to me so I never really understood it or the implications of the change until just a few months ago when I started doing all my research and started finding all the discrepancies etc. I think XJWs understand it and can explain it much better than many JWs, it's truely sad.

some of you here on the board know about my dreams but i feel it is time to get some feedback from the rest of you.
i have other dreams, but am far too lazy to type them up.
Why do these kinds of things only happen to other people?
I've never had any unusual dreams, visions or anything of that sort in my life.
The only time I've ever had any kind of remotely similar dream is when I've fallen asleep while watching the discovery channel.
