I`ve been out since the early 90`s and what you describe just seems so foreign to the conversations we used to have .
Sure their was a little social talk but mainly it was about some new "truth" we learned or how prophecy was being filled before our eyes or how the king of the north and king of the south were squaring off with one another.
How times have changed ,just sounds like a social club now.

What if you knew the child was going to grow into an incredibly evil person such as Hitler who would go on to kill millions of people? Would it be better to let one child die in order to save millions from death?
So why did GOD allow this child who did became Hitler survive child birth ?

If the world is in this condition, it is entirely god's fault. Or, it is exactly as he wishes for it to be.
Then again , maybe it`s because GOD does not exist .

I appreciate your sound reasoning on how different languages might use different pronunciations to names in the Bible, ,however you would think the Almighty GOD would like his name pronounced correctly no matter what language was used.?
I think you do well to remember my friend also that the WT / JW religion is an American man made sect ,of the late 19th early 20th Century that spawned a few such sects about the same time.

it is not a new verse that starts anew, but a verse that ends the previous chapter, so what paul says to imitate is shown in the previous chapter.
So you are asking someone here to interpret what Paul meant with the words he spoke ? After thousands of years ?
