Even Trump has said Putin has changed. "I don't know what has happen to Putin, and I don't like it at all"
It's not the same Putin he knew just a few days ago. The concern now is that Zelensky doesn't seem to care if he starts a WW3 and takes the entire world with him.
The consensus is that if Putin had been killed, Russia would have launched Nuclear Bombs and wiped Ukraine. Then Europe would have launched Nukes at Russia,
Knowing this can happened, Germany is telling Ukraine to launch Missiles to Russia as soon as possible.
And that would be enough to tip the scale with India/Pakistan, Israel/Gaza(Iran), China/Taiwan

I kept things like that to myself. I was PIMO and had no desire to educate other jws, would more likely believe it, if they discovered themselves
I agree. Unless it's your spouse, children, maybe parents, it's best to leave everyone else alone. They need to wake up on their own. It's not our responsibility to wake people up from their religious beliefs.. They have a brain, they need to use it.

Well believe it or not, one of my cousins who is PIMO just got counseled by an elder for mentioning there was a news report that some elders was arrested for Child abuse a few months ago.
He was told that if he ever brought that up again to any publisher, he would be dealt judicially for spreading apostasy. He was told that the elder body will not put up with talk that causes division in the congregation.
So there you go.......the jws are taking the convention seriously.

The Governing Body is Restructuring the Org.and encouranging young ones to REACH OUT!

so another generation of young people with ruined lives.
another generation of young people that will get old and wake up in their 50s to realize they were in a religious doomsday cult.. and they are getting rid of some old workers that ran the branches of the organization, and giving them different assignments or maybe they are just sending them home, who knows.

So by now, a lot of us have seen a clip from the "apostate" video from the 2025 convention.
I’ve got a lot of thoughts about it. On a somewhat positive note, it really does seem like the Governing Body has been in panic mode for the last few years—basically since Covid. Between the conventions and JW Broadcasting, there's been an intense focus on the “apostate” narrative. It feels like pure damage control in response to the growing number of people waking up, thanks to the internet and increased exposure to critical information.
The sad and honestly disturbing part is that this video will work on a lot of PIMIs. It’s going to deepen their fear and disgust of anything “outside.” For many of us, the video hits close to home—it’s eerily reminiscent of conversations we've had with friends or family. And if it made us think back to those interactions, you can bet it’ll do the same for the people who were on the other side of those conversations.
One thing I found really interesting: they didn’t actually straw man the "apostate." Now, don’t get me wrong—they still didn’t engage with any real criticisms (like the 607 BCE doctrine, the Australian Royal Commission, the UN NGO affiliation, etc.).
But the “apostate’s” reasoning was surprisingly grounded. He said things like “I’m keeping an open mind and finding answers to my questions,” and “How do you know it’s garbage if you haven’t even read it?”
And here’s what’s wild: the PIMI character had no actual arguments. He just shut the conversation down and threatened to report the guy. That’s the message being drilled in—shut it down, don't think, and definitely don’t listen. They even compared the “apostate” to Satan tempting Jesus in the wilderness. Still the same old fear-based control tactics.
But to end on a more hopeful note: I truly believe this might backfire for some. For anyone with even a flicker of critical thinking or lingering doubts, this kind of thing could touch a nerve. It’s the sort of video that would have made me deeply uncomfortable in the final stretch before I woke up—even if I couldn’t yet verbalize why. Hopefully, someone out there will see it and think, “Hang on… that guy had a point.”

First of all, anybody over 80 has no home to go to. Everybody has died unless there is a nephew. Please tell me the JW religion isn’t sending people over 80 ‘home’ to serve in some congregation somewhere!
I wish I could tell you they are not sending anybody home, but you know the GB doesn't give a hoot about their members. The way this Bethelite explained it to me is if the old timers have connections with someone important in the Organization, they will Not send them home, just give him some position somewhere, out of sight, until he dies.. But if they have no connections, they will send them to help some congregation somewhere.......to be forgotten.
In fact, I'm not sure if it was reddit where I read about an old timer that was just dismissed from Bethel, when Bethel was a thing. He had nowhere to go so he went and sat on a bench and froze to death that night. He had no family and no money and stayed single all his life to serve Jehov/GB.
They are cruel people that have no compassion. Remember, they know the blood doctrine is killing who knows how many mothers, fathers and children world wide, yet they won't change for fear of repercussions
