  ever wonder what it's like for a little girl, who finally gets the courage to tell on jw daddy's bad habit of making her @#$% him, just to be traumatized by 2 elders who tell her she doesn't have 2 witnesses and now she must "go home with daddy"?.

  ever wonder about how "scared" she is at the "moment they inform her", go home with daddy now?.......after "telling" on daddy?......and the elders are telling her, she has to go home with daddy now???.

  ever wonder if daddy might make sure she never tells on him again???.

  well ok, "shunned" is really sister number 2, but peachypoof is sister number one, and the second of my sister to join the board.. she is about 18 months younger than me, and today joined us on the board.. i know when i was talking to her online, i was kinda choked up, that she was signing up with us here.

  these are moments that this brother, the real brother of these two sisters of mine will never forget!.

  welcome peachypoof, and may your stay here be as long as mine.

  Amazing Survived Major Heart Attack

  i just spoke on the phone to amazing (jim whitney) who is in intensive care in a chicago hospital.

  on monday he had a major heart attack, had a stint put in an artery to unblock things and may have bypass surgery.

  he's comfortable enough right now, but of course will have to make some big lifestyle changes.

  ...could someone please give us a summary of what happened on the show, who was interviewed, what they said, what the reporter said, what the wts' pr said, etc.. it would be much appreciated, thanks..

  Bill taped a phone conversation to the WTS legal dept--they basically told him to keep quiet, don't go to the police. I thought that was the best part of the program!

  Barbara Anderson Disfellowshipped

  as of 1 pm today barb anderson was notified that she has been disfellowshipped in writing by the judicial committee in her congregation.

  barb was df in absentia at a second hearing that was declared after she successfully defended herself against charges in the first hearing.

  home office came back with further instructions to make it stick the second time around.

  to date i can honestly boast that my apostate enemies have failed to present any challenge which i have not been able to refute using the word of my god.. ok while i am not an apostate (never set foot in a kh)...i did have a talk with an elder with some evidence that though the gb does not claim to be inspired....they have in fact done just that.

  i could see the wheels in his head trying to explain this away as he read it about 15 times over...in the end he just changed the subject in classic jw form.

  here is what i showed him..... july 1 1943 watchtower.

  Why a JW family member is traumatic to non JW?

  i was raised in a very religiously strict christian home, and have been presbyterian or baptist my whole life.

  i have heard nothing but bad things about the jw's.

  just recently i have gotten very interested in in learning more about jw, and possibly becoming one.

  Elizabeth the JWs are a cult. I suggest that you spend some time researching before making the decision to join. The main teaching of the Witnesses is that 99.9% of those living on Earth now will perish in the battle of Armagedon--that is, unless you are a Witness. They believe that only they will be saved and that everyone else, including your own family, will die. They don't like their views to be challenged. They don't celebrate holidays or birthdays. They will do the best they can to isolate you from your family and friends because they are not like them. I could go on, but I think you get the gist of it.
