Fibromyalgia..........................

just to add to my regular cronic back pain that i live with, i now have been diagnosed with full blown fibromyalgia.
i am looking for all the info i can get, as the doctors answers are more pills....i am sick to death with pills now!!!!!!!!!!!

It took forever for the Dr to diagnose my daughters Lyme disease. No Drs here knew how to treat it. She had to go to another state. If you find a DR that doesn't act like they know it all you may be able to get some help. Because the DRS took so long to recognize my daughters disease it has been a long hard battle trying to get well..thankfully with Drs that are wiling to listen and try to find you help she is getting better..she ws almost in a wheelchair by the time she found one that could help her.
It is the same with Fibro..if a Dr is ignorant of the disease they will make excuses and try to say you are mental..you have to keep looking for a Dr that can and will help.
Many Drs have lost their license for treating Lyme Disease patients..they too (the patients) have been accused of it "Being all in their heads"..because the DRs are too ignorant of the tests available and the treatments (as they are of Fibro) ..so they pass the buck..
In growing up I was surprised to find out that Drs indeed , did not know it all. They were next to God when I was growing up as were Policemen..

Did you know that many cases of Fibro have the same symptoms as Lyme Disease? Many Fibro patients may be suffering the effects of a past tick bite! There is a blood test to detect if you are suffering from an old tick bite with Lyme disease..it wouldln't hurt to ask your Dr for one just to be sure.

unfortunately, her husband died monday, and she is feeling very sad.

Niecy Nash...of Clean House...

on the show is her new husband and their blended families... in the episode i just watched they were celebrating christmas by cutting down a huge tree for x mas .
in one part of the show, speaking of her new hubby jay tucker, said he never celebrated christmas..(my ears go up..lol).

My son was murdered today
by truman ini have been on this site daily, almost from its beginning, since i left the jws in 2001, but i have been more of a reader than a poster, as you can see from my post count.
i know few here know me, although i know many of you through reading your posts.
maybe it is not right to ask for support, when i generally stay quietly in the background of this forum, but i want only to speak a human misery of the deepest kind.

My daughter has cut me off from her and my grandson because I went behind her back and found out she was using the money she borrowed ( and never paying back) for illegal drugs. I told her no more money ( After giving her a few hundred a day or two before) when her water was going to be cut off and so she cut me off after telling me she wished I had put her up for adoption and I was the meanest person she knew..Children can hurt parents too.
Been a year now since she cut me off...

I'm so sorry Annie, I went through that in 2003 with my JW hubby. Only thing in our case it was a completion of the Assembly hall apartment.They were in a hurry because the Overseer was coming to live there..They had to finish it and had no time to visit hubby. Hubby wanted to die at home and we only lived less than 5 minutes from the Assembly hall..but it was still inconvenient.
When Hubby died he wanted me to sprinkle his ashes on the flowers at the Kingdom Hall. I still haven't to this day.
Big hugs for what you are going through, my heart goes out to you and your family.

Rant about Toddlers and Tiaras and Dance Moms...

i keep coming across these shows...what are they doing to their poor kids?
mostly i am refering to tat, which is guilty of glorifying the screaming and yelling at, as well as physically hurting of kids.

RE Dance Moms..It was good at first but now they seem to think bickering between the mom's will sell the show..not so. I quit watching it. The MOMS were getting out of control..while the kids watched and cryed most of the time. What kind of example is that?..
No thanks..
T and T..watched the first few episodes and the more they dressed the kids provactively the more I didn't want to watch it anymore..

NEW LAW Starting July 2012 in Qld Australia Preventing Door to Door Sales
by Hopscotch ini just read this in our local newspaper this morning and thought it is very interesting.
this law is aimed at door to door marketing by companies but i am wondering if this may end up including religious 'sales persons'.
the comments below the story are worth reading as jw's and religious callers are definitely who many people want stopped under this new law.. .

If they continue to knock on doors..I wonder if taking any literature they offer and NOT contributing would discourage them from coming back. Maybe take the literature each time they come and say thank you and close the door..I bet after a while they would stop coming..hurt them in the pocketbook..
Course on the other hand I knew some that did this just so they could say they placed magazines..even if it cost them or they placed older magazines. The society comes out ahead no matter..as long as someone pays for the literature they are happy.
