Well, I didn't mean self-awareness as in him realizing what kind of person he is. I mean at some point he might realize that his approach is hurting him and not helping. I don't expect he will ever do any honest self-reflection, but maybe he will realize that he needs to at least pretend that he understands why people are running from him. -

Last nights Zoom meeting: Watching a nine year old on stage reading Bible passages
by RULES & REGULATIONS inmy nephew called me sunday night to tell me that his nine year old son was giving his first talk.
he gave me the zoom i.d.. and password for his congregations in-person tuesday night meeting.. i haven't been to any meetings in nine years.
many things have changed.

I was nine years old the first time I went on stage to read the week's Bible passage. Though I am pretty sure that my first few times were in one of the secondary rooms that only had seating for a dozen people or so. Those rooms were used for beginners a lot, since the smaller room/capacity made it more cozy and less intimidating.
I did pretty well, I had an aptitude for public speaking. Which is odd, since I was also painfully (and I mean painfully) shy and withdrawn, most of the time.

Start of the Great Tribulation will be announced soon
by joey jojo inat the 2021 annual meeting, samuel herd revealed new light and claimed the anointed will all have passed away before armageddon.
it has since been revealed that while they will die before armageddon, there will be some anointed still around that will witness the start of the great tribulation.. so the question is, how many years until the existing members of the governing body have passed away?.
im not a doctor, but based on their age and various stages of obesity, im thinking 10- 15 years- give or take, sounds about right.. with that in mind, the great tribulation could be announced any day.. the new understanding has now freed the org from the burden of having to identify a particular generation in relation to the date of armageddon.

It is plain to see if you read the "words of Jesus" here
Are you sure? There are few Bible passages that aren't interpreted in many ways, some of them completely at odds with each other. I am certain that there are many verses where the meaning should be plain, yet people still come to different conclusions. I think one major reason for this is that we are heavily influenced by our religious upbringing or guidance, so that we start with a specific set of beliefs that we work to maintain even before we've read a single Bible verse. Before we begin, we are already determined to interpret things a certain way. It derails any real attempt at gaining understanding of what is written.

Will the ministry ever resume?
by optimisticskeptic ingoing on 2+ years of no public ministry.
can't imagine anyone is really enjoying letter writing still or that it's remotely effective.
i'm a little shocked that we haven't resumed yet but i guess that's what happens when the org is run by a bunch of old people (ie high risk for covid) and a bunch of other sheltered germaphobes.

I would be surprised if they abandoned the door-to-door ministry, since it has been such a big part of their identity for so long. It is also a way for them to keep track of the membership and get a feel for who is losing enthusiasm.
But they may not have a choice, if they find that people become resistant to it. They could always claim that the spirit has guided them to a new way of preaching, and make it seem like a great blessing that came at just the right time. New light!

Lloyd -the childish video maker- had his patrons drop by thirty.
If you had asked me in the past month, whether I thought he would lose any more patrons in large chunks, I would have said I highly doubt it. This is staggering.
I wonder how many are finally learning about what happened, and how many were wavering and were finally put off as they realized that Evans was not remorseful about what he had done. Watching someone in his circumstances continue to be a jerk to people online has to be having more of an effect than I expected to see.
I would not be surprised if he attempts an about-face at some point, to try and salvage what is left of his support. He would not do it with any sincerity, so it would probably be another train-wreck, and just hasten his downfall. But it would at least show what it would take for some self-awareness to slip in.

And now, when he tweets about how he enjoys sinking his teeth into those warm chippies...

First a ten-year gap, then a three-year gap.
You will need to post again in about a year.

What's the point in going door too door.
It's probably more effective than writing letters, would be my guess. And it keeps the membership active, helping the elders to spot anyone who is faltering, so that they can visit them and offer up "counsel."
The only edge they have now is that it's a good time to push the "things have never been this bad" narrative, and people are more likely to listen. Otherwise, COVID will probably be a big factor in the numbers declining more rapidly.

I don't think he expected anything to come of the criminal complaint. He is able to use it as a talking point, to try to show how serious he is about fighting back against defamation, and possibly to intimidate the targets.
Remember that the statute of limitations on this step was three months. He had to file soon or time would have run out, and he didn't want to be seen as talking about taking action and then admitting that he did nothing. But now he has the civil suits he can file, and the statute of limitations on them is three years. So he can drag that out a long time, and if anyone asks about it, he can point out that there is plenty of time to do it and that his team of intrepid legal minds is feverishly at work finding evidence and laying out a case.
He may be hoping that the threat of civil litigation will be effective by itself, or at least provide him with a quick and easy reply if anyone asks about it in the future. It's being worked on, he will say, and remind his critics that he's just waiting for the right moment to strike. He'll get a pat on the back from his dwindling supporters and feel good about himself, until the next critical tweet sets him on edge again.
So the question becomes, will he file a civil suit before 2025? Or is he hoping everyone forgets about it by then? Maybe he feels that he can recover his lost empire in the meantime, if he can just get everyone to forget what happened and intimidate other exJWs into silence. So far, he's off to a rough start.

Wouldn't legal proceedings expose everything he's been up to.
Potentially, yes. It would also expose him to cross examination (or a deposition, if he returns to Croatia). His 'woe-is-me' video could be subpoenaed as evidence and shown to a jury. He might be surprised to find how easy it can be to depose people in the age of Zoom calls. He'd better pray his phone records (including chat logs/photos) aren't subpoenaed, or that his team can fight off any attempt to get them.
It's hard to imagine that he would move so far from his children
Sadly, I don't find it that hard to imagine.
