Some of the older Kingdom Halls did seam a bit creepy to me as a kid.Don't think there is anything sinister to it though, any old building was creepy to me.

by Englishman inall this talk of subliminal images has got the old brain-box working overtime.. i'm just recalling being taken to the kingdom hall as an 8 year old child.
my parents had great difficulty in actually getting me there, i would kick and yell the house down in protest every sunday afternoon when it was time to leave, so great was my dislike of the meetings that we attended at staines kingdom hall.. you see, what upset me, was that i felt a sort of sinister atmosphere present there.
i got the same sort of vibes from the societies books and magazines and loathed having to read them.

NeonMadman What I should have said is that Jesus has no bigger claim of being Gods represenative than any other group of men, that we know so much more about the men of the governing body and so much less about Jesus that just excepting his is what is cliamed seams foolish.

If Saddam was anywhere near as powerful and deadly as Hitler was then we would face a very real chance of loosing any war, we only have Hitlers maddness to fight Russia to thank for his defeat.Saddam is no where near the same threat military wise his threat is of a different kind.

I'm not so sure we've been HERE before.
Hitler and Saddam are two different people with different objectives and methods at their disposal.
Hitler had definate aims and plans for his new empire, and had a MIGHTY army already in place, Saddams army does not come even nearly close .Saddam may use a nuclear wepon in his maddness , fair enought, but is that the biggest threat?I say no.The biggest threat is a continuation of hatred between certain groups and countries which are known to use terroist tactics to fight their cause.If we use too much froce in stopping Saddam the consequences may be bigger than the small nuclear strike Saddam would be capable of.

Done all that mate.How will killing Saddam stop terrorists, which are the bigger threat?
(By the way America refuses to stop polluting the planet , as the worlds biggest polluter maybe we should bomb the US as they pose the biggest threat to our health and that of our children.Pollution KILLS just like Bombs.)
These issues are bigger than a simple solution.
