  in one text conversation, wendy wiens disfellowshiped susanne and demanded an apology from her.

  I don't understand the need of ex jw's to get themselves so involved in these groups. After coming out of a high control group, the last thing anyone should do is get themselves involved in another group, literally from the frypan into the fire.

  Shows the importance of "doing the work" after leaving Watchtower to avoid simply jumping into another cult.

  A sad truth is that people who are most likely to fall for a scam and those who have fallen for scams before. If people don't learn and don't step back and evaluate their mindset to change how they think, they just end up repeating the same mistakes again. It applies in all manner of situations - investing, picking partners, and following religious leaders.

  How do you know if someone isn't suitable to be a religious leader?

  If they are one. It's that simple.

  The left's attempts to smear Trump as being anywhere close to as criminal as them is pitiful to watch. It's over, he won, and all their hoaxes are no longer effective. He won despite their lies and endless fake news and propaganda.

  The simple fact is that the democrats are up to their necks in corruption and they no longer bother to hide it. It went all the way up to their president, who was financially benefitting from the money laundering his son was involved in with Ukraine, which is why he's been pardoned.

  The whole family are just sleazy. The democrats are rotting from the inside and it's fantastic to watch.

  with all the information on the internet exposing the type of person Lloyd is and what he really uses their money for, they no longer have my sympathy. In fact they may very well be just like him.

  Yeah, for some people he's a hero, justifying shitty life choices and poor moral behavior. They pay a few $ to tell themselves it's "OK".

  i am non political and have never voted but nonetheless i have been keenly watching to see how the trump presidential race unfolds.

  i believe that his involvement in propelling or influencing a leaning toward bible prophecy will unfold.

  how, i can’t say but something tells me that this anomaly and outlier being trump is highly signifiant!

  She's a perfect representation of their fundamental ideology - a diversity hire with no discernible skills who slept her way up. It's what they want their world to be, a place where useless people get everything handed to them just but uttering the magical incantation of wailing "racism & misogyny" ... all funded by taxing the few who actually work.

  Trump won "bigly", and has control of:

  • The Whitehouse / Presidency (including the "popular vote")
  • The Senate
  • The House (Congress)
  • The States (majority of state governors)

  All are now republican so no blockers on any policy changes. Expect some improvements to the world, and leftists leaders around the world be consigned to history (Trudeau is toast without the US propping him up).

  Every appointee so far has been an outstanding choice, it's like the government dream-team!

  The only way it could get better for him is if the crazy lib supreme court justice Sotomayor dropped dead from shock and needed replacing.

  i’m just curious about this dynamic i don’t care personally one way or the other but i do have friends who have chosen to be conservatives and they get totally destroyed on social media pages for their choice.

  it’s almost like a lot of ex jw w become as toxic and his judgmental as jehovah’s witnesses themselves what’s up with that?

  i also know conservative ex jw’s that can do the same so again i’m not leaning one way or the other i’m just noticing factual observations.
