  My sister passed away this evening

  it was only about two months ago she was diagnosed with lung cancer and she was a non smoker .. she was never a jw and she never held it against me that i was for 33 years.. we had a good relationship even though we lived in different states about 2000 miles apart,.. tears are rolling down my cheeks as i type this .

  Should kids learn cursive handwriting?

  i am an elementary school teacher of the fourth grade.

  in times past, students would start learning cursive handwriting in third grade and by fourth should be transitioning to writing in cursive at all times.

  as you might be aware, this has all but been taken out of the curriculum.

  Cursive writing is taught here in the UK.

  Ive always struggled with my handwriting but i know how to write in cursive as do most if not all my peers.

  It wouls be a shame if children where to miss out on learning it.

  So your also saying my reasoning is ilogical with out even asking what my reasoning is?

  My reason was reading an article on the sutherland springs attack. It included alot of accounts from locals, a few comments I read mentioned how they just wished that one of the worshipers had been carrying, and ironicaly praying that a similar attacks never happen again.

  Got me thinking if following these attacks if the jws would be preparing or even what the general attitude is amungst JWS in the states.

  But ya know you could just accuse me of being an illogical terrorist planing on moving to the states to shoot up a half empty kingdom hall.

  Not a single thing i wrote had anything to do with JWS being "gun crazy" you have clearly misunderstood my post.... somehow.

  Because im asking what the jws view is in America (a country known for its gun ownership) this now means im both moving to america to be a gun totin generation overlapper AND launch an attack on a kingdom hall.

  Im not sure how youve come to this conclusion.
