  jh: watchtower writers operate under the assumption that all references to "jew" Israelite, has changed for Christians with Paul's introduction in Gal 6:16 of the 'Israel of God" aka "spiritual Israel", made up of spiritual jews.

  All Israel was in the law covenant, all spiritual jews are in the new covenant, all must take the emblems of that covenant for forgiveness of sin.

  Particularly the so called OS, because unlike the "anointed" , who die to go to heaven, the supposed future survivors of Armageddon would never personally pay the penalty for sin.

  Christ died for the world. the world's believers, , not only the 144000 should partake.

  Luke is sometimes quoted as the justification for only the anointed partaking the emblems:

  some scripture to show that anointing can happen many years after baptism. So a person with the earthly hope can at any time proclaim themselves anointed.

  h: right! the greatest example are the apostles. At the last supper, with an entrenched earthly hope ( wanted to eat and drink wine, rule as kings in Israel) they partook of the emblems,--- to become anointed only 50 days later'

  The first partakers had an earthly hope, no text says that has ever changed.

  Is there actually a difference between eternal life , immortality ?

  J: yes there is. if Jesus, the son, would have been inherently immortal, he could never have been put to death, really die. , but as the 'second Adam', he had only the right to everlasting life. They should have let him live to be over a 1000. to prove it.

  Are the GB members sentencing their brothers to death?

  V: the right quote. The ransom, new covenant partaking is a must for all, for the anointed, giving up life on earth to gain immortality might follow, by the sealing.

  NK: right, there is a difference too between the right to everlasting life and immortality.

  wt teaches that partaking gets you the right to everlasting life on earth. The anointed, by virtue of their partaking, acquire that right and, like Jesus, have to sacrifice that right to obtain immortality. so:

  How dare the wt leaders then not allowing step one, partaking, for the general membershyp? after all.

  Ds. it goes even further, they even deny that headquarters came up with the idea in 1935 to have the majority of their member cease to partake. Wt attributes that to a spontaneous reaction, vox popoli!. so:

  No one today should partake.,

  well while it is true there is no record of the apostles doing it ( on one Passover night peter was not attending the memorial) Did not Paul say " whenever you eat and drink you proclaim--" so there was a repetition of the ceremony; the catholic mass, communion for example.

  The novelty in wt doctrine is that they teach that you can get life, without partaking. (after slaving for a 1000 years).

  No scripture is ever offers for that stance. only 1935 vox popoli, vox dei. anecdotes.

  Animal suffering, Christianity’s biggest problem.

  human life is infused with pain.. but animal life is “define by pain.. animals in the wild are subject to endless torment from all angles of their existence.

  wild dogs disembowel their prey, venomous snakes cause slow internal bleeding and paralysis.

  crocodiles drown large animals in their jaws.. and animals also suffer from rampant disease, dehydration, and starvation, and have to contend with forest fires and floods, harsh winters and blistering heat.

  How about the meat eating dinosaurs tyrannosaurus rex? the roque teen agers of the species?

  My only answer is,: animal pain might be overrated, unfelt. "Love" is for us to create.
