lloyd evans has just tweeted a video he will be releasing soon on the "change" to the meaning of the sheep and goats and when that is to occur.. i've missed any discussion on that on here or anywhere?

how could they be be judged on actions during the GT?

A real new light would be to see how wt writers correct their error, of asserting that the overlapping anointed generation will pass away to heaven that soon, at the beginning of the GT. when

Jesus is said to have said that this generation will not pass away until all these end time things, like the greater than Deluge - scale destruction aka Armageddon occur.?

sbf: right, The teaching is that once the great tribulation starts, and the GB and buddies are gone to heaven, the door of the ark will be shut. last minute, deathbed regrets will not matter.

The judgement will be based on what you did, while it mattered. It still depends whether you "took " the magazines, now, googled jworg.

These truth, or newest light wt preaches is so ironclad in their eyes, , that they are willing to disfellowship (turning over to Satan for destruction) anyone that teaches otherwise, contradicts. so,

if salvation and damnation is so closely linked to current teaching,

every change in prophetic teaching brands, confirms wt as false prophets.

If you are ready to kill for your vacillating predictions, no matter what they are,

why do you think you will not have the same judgement?

the watchtower teaches that the opportunity to be born again and enjoy complete justification with god ended in 1935, having been limited to only 144k since pentecost.

so, it is very surprising that the watchtower embraces the death that is described in romans chapter 6, since this is the very death that is required to be born again…… which is denied to watchtower members!

romans chapter 6, verse 7 is about saying goodbye to the old personality, the “old man” in the king james version.

The greatest type/ antitype hype in that prophecy is of course Jesus comparing the end (of the wt 1914 generation} to the great deluge, Noah's day.

It is not that "all the sign" only has to occur during the life of the generation, but an event even greater than the deluge, and that in destructive power will not occur again, aka Armageddon. That is the " all " Jesus was talking about. No wriggle room here. easy as shooting fish in a barrel.

PS: and why did all the babies have to pay the price for the lecherous angels, that did not die, did not pay for their sexual sins, and were able go on to kill all those pigs, those swine.

drowing, is not a nice way to die. have a barrel handy to float.

It seems they are now flip-flopping back to that separation work happening now

nswtg: since wt now teaches, that the Governing Body plus all anointed will go to heaven before Jesus sits down -- on his judgement throne. -- (and then mounts the stallion)

They can not stand the thought that they (as Christ's brothers, the focus of the goats neglect), will miss out on [over]seeing, organizing that action.

DW, although that is not the point of my post, I'm curious, what is the current proposal on the 144K ?

SB: Peter, Paul & Mary were resurrected in 1918 , once heaven was cleansed.

The current "anointed" partakers, the generation of 1914 will rise to their reward in heaven at the start of the coming Great Tribulation. leaving the "sheep and goats" behind. These sealed "anointed" have to be in heaven to participate as immortal warriors in the killing of Armageddon, which is the end of this system, when "all these things have occurred".

Unbelievably, wt here contradicts "Jesus" who emphatically stated, that this generation (of wt's anointed of 1914) will n-o-t pass away until all these things have occurred,

the other wt gem is, that the remnant of the 144 000 is the generation that generously overlaps in at least 2 groups. as David Splane's remarks show:

2 centenarians overlapping by 20 years: 2x100 = 200 - 40 = 160 years +1914 = 2074

one year to 1975 + 100. not just a proposal, a prophecy by wtbts. inc.

How many covenants do you believe are in the NT?

SB: the wt/ bible world has only a passing interest for me, I do not "believe" it has importance. so, I do not want even to go through my concordance to refresh my memory. I remember though, that even the kingdom covenant (promise to rule over the "12 tribes of israel" , was not only pronounced after the last supper, but also at an earlier occasion.

as a jw did you have a pioneer sister/elder's wife who was the biggest busybody, self righteous, arrogant pus in the circuit?

who would look down on others and treat people like crap.. without giving to much away, i experienced one that knew everyone in circuit.

and if she or her husband saw or heard something they didn't like it was " you know what the bible says" regardless if it was in there or not.

The Flood of Noah's day just is hard to explain and does not make much sense scientifically. And don't get started on God, to me it's right up there with the tooth fairy.

Or, sorry, I mentioned the flood only to indicate that The judgement of gehenna is just as real as the talking snake, and the Everest covering waters.
