it seemed to me like jumping from the hot pan into the fire.. i don’t want to piss anyone off for his or her choices.
i feel everyone is free to believe what they may.

the idea of switching to Catholisism or Evangelism after being a Witless. That will never make sense .
agree, since most converts come out of those systems that they rejected, all based on the talking snake story.
My belief in deism ( while I am currently under attack by pathogens that end most seniors lives) is the extraordinary build-in capacity of life to be ready to , evolve,exploit, adapt, succeed.

Etude, my world view seems to be callous to you, but you and I, living today as the temporary carriers of life, passed along like a baton, in a billion year long line of survivors, would prove to correct? Of course there are the heartaches of those that did not make it, and if they did not, there is a reason, and hopefully not to be repeated again,

Field service even when parts of town are flooded.

this morning, jehovah's witnesses in gatineau were preaching door to door when parts of their city are under water.1500 volunteers (not jws) showed up to help their fellow citizen in need.
meanwhile, jws were knocking on the doors in areas that were not flooded talking about how the weather is messed up and how it is a sign of the end.

Single Sisters Over A Certain Age Group Getting A Bad Rap
by HiddlesWife ini'm new here; one of my relatives was a member on this forum a few years ago and told me about it.
anyways, as a sister who has been in the org since childhood and now in her late 40's (plus as a woman of color), i have noticed that a number of brothers have an ageist attitude.
they are very accepting of young women under 26 and rejecting women over that age, particularly those in their 30's and over.. is this an unspoken mindset from wthq (specifically from bethel), or is it that quite a number of males (sorry, i'm not sexist here) have this type of mentality?
