  now, many years later, i remember the 1995 generation change, very well.. since early youth, hearing my father explaining in field service the 2520 years.

  it was his main theme in the field.. with the change my doubts started.

  with some jw friends we did not trust the organization anymore.

  the GC survives into the Millennium on earth. What WT seems to imply though is that today’s JW are the GC collectively and will survive the GT. bold added/

  F: current wt writers have strayed even further from "bible truth". The passage in Rev 7 says "come out of" not survive, that wording suggests, that the great crowd is the product of the GT.

  In the 1950s we taught that. Meaning, that The GT had started in 1914, was interrupted (shortened) in 1918, and will resume at Armageddon. remember, too,

  The Gt will be "shortened, so some flesh will be saved" that is obviously not referring to the "anointed", who can't wait to leave the flesh behind and answer the upward call.

  You can not come out of something that does not exist yet. There is no 12 in a crowd. I mean can you think of a more organized, stratified society than the wt society?

  i can't believe william shatner is 90 years old but doesn't look like other 90 year olds that i've met.

  is it genetic?

  is it lifestyle.

  so, on October 12 Shatner is going 80 km up with the Bezos rocket. Giving an aura of fame to the exercise.

  The bible truthfully foretold that the legs of oldtimers, octogenarians like him, would become feeble, fail , well. for the few minutes in free fall, he is relieved off the pain. at least they dont pollute much, , burning hydrogen, with a water exhaust.

  What WT seems to imply though is that today’s JW are the GC collectively and will survive the GT. WT is asserting that today’s JW is the GC,

  F:exactly, and tied in with that is the constant assertion " soon " We are in "The last days."

  since 1918. wt inc has proclaimed that "millions now living will never die". It is still their main and unchanged message of [fat chance] hope.

  Did the article refer to today's JWs as the GC or potential members of the GC?

  Listener: Par 19: "If you belong to the "great crowd", you have a wonderful prospect. ---" Jws will take that to mean the now, belonging at present to the already existing "great crowd", but as the wt writer says, that is an iffy proposition,the mean reason that there is no confirmed "great crowd" now.

  Question about Congregation accounts in ECUADOR 🇪🇨

  wondering if anyone here knows why local congregations in ecuador do not have accounts under the congregation’s name.

  i just found out they use the personal information of one of the elder’s 😳 wtf .

  what’s the legal reason for this?

  require 2 signatures for withdrawals.

  AM, that it why the thieves get the money, one way or another, before it is deposited.

  many ways, during prayer, filching from the boxes, have wealthy sisters give you money directly "for deposit" that the husband does not know about, no receipt for tax deduction. will executors, on and on.

  i replied to a lesbian on the quora website who tried to state that god destroyed sodom because of the violent rape the people were trying to commit, not because they were homosexuals.

  her argument perperuated so often was that it stated nothing about sex between "two consenting adults".

  but, instead of using the bible scriptures such as a man shall not lay down with another as a woman, i used something else you never hear anyone use.... i told her to look to genesis 6:1-4 .

  Why didn`t they take on the female form as well as the male form ,then their offspring would have been super heroes..... or not..

  S3: in the story, it is assumed that sexual pleasure is more intense, guaranteed for the male, not always for the female. So the angels went for the orgasm.

  It is telling, that the fallen angels did not fall for boys. although guarantee is there too, I assume. ask a priest.

  should have been able to prevent “Satan” from acting by reading his heart and instantaneously vaporizing him, thereby preventing the whole issue…. 🤔

  DD: wt's reposte to that is: " it is not a contest as to who is more powerful. ---"

  since homosexuality has emerged as a sin as you say, or as one of the current end products of evolution, where does that leave us, how to defend our family values?

  the question is, what evolutionary advantage would homosexuality impart on the individual the fittest to procreate, or more interestingly to humanity, as a whole?

  Obviously, the millions that died of old age and other causes believing they would live into the Millennium were not part of the GC to begin with since being part of the GC described in Revelation means surviving into the new order. — So if you make it into the Millennium a person is of the GC if the JW dies beforehand, he is OS.

  Fm: just bumping this up, because in today's wt study #30, "Place in J's family",

  wt makes the deliberate mistake again to call today's jws "The great Crowd", when the real thing might be, according to the overlap timing, not be known for over 50 years, After the GT, in 2075. and

  wt is still sticking to the 7000 year rest day, by twisting the scriptures to imply the final test is "at the end" within the millenium instead of "after the 1000 years are ended" just a few verses on,

  I doubt there was a chairman at Pentecost 33 CE. But I bet their was a chairman for this one.

  AM, you would be surprised there were actually two. the texts read that the 'first voice' switched between Peter and someone else (dont remember the details) it was used by wt inc to introduce the rotating elder arrangement in the early 1970ies.

  A surprising arrangement with many benefits for the congregations. The narcissists hated it. soon it was back to the "gifts of god to men" bullies at the top. after 1975, downhill it went.
