0) did God (the father) or its atheistic equivalent have a prehuman/preBigBang existence? and other TMELY questions.
by prologos inif you like to think of the big question and can imagine to remove one of the 3 similar space dimensions to put in time as a substitute, a picture should emerge that you can work with.
1)working into the past from the big bang creation or random event, (like in "100 abb" or "-100 bb"} , as an atheist, was there a start- up vaccuum oscillation, the casimir effect gone viral,or similar random event , or.
21) so, better keep moving!

Single Sisters Over A Certain Age Group Getting A Bad Rap
by HiddlesWife ini'm new here; one of my relatives was a member on this forum a few years ago and told me about it.
anyways, as a sister who has been in the org since childhood and now in her late 40's (plus as a woman of color), i have noticed that a number of brothers have an ageist attitude.
they are very accepting of young women under 26 and rejecting women over that age, particularly those in their 30's and over.. is this an unspoken mindset from wthq (specifically from bethel), or is it that quite a number of males (sorry, i'm not sexist here) have this type of mentality?

Only in the Kingdom Hall do they imagine they have "power".🙄 In the world when a man has $$$ of course women will want them...She will overlook how unattractive he is.
LHG: yeah, that explains while they close their eyes when kissing and turn out the light.
being married to a person you loath must be a hard way to earn your money/keep.

perhaps many a husband would be upset if they thought that the hour long procedure of their wife to get ready for the meeting is a ritual to become attractive to the males there. and one study showed that ladies, when having to make a snap decision will pick the rugged unkempt speciman over the well groomed.
There are many unattached attractive and intelligent elderly sisters here, giving glasses to the remaining single brothers is not going enhance their chances.
TD: heights? never was afraid of it, vertical beings welcome.

Disfellowshipping decision to go before Canadian Supreme Court
by Simon inhigh court will examine whether judicial review applies to membership decisions made by religious groups.
the supreme court of canada has agreed to hear an appeal involving a calgary man who was kicked out of his jehovah's witness church.. randy wall, a real estate agent was "disfellowshipped" from the highwood congregation for being drunk on two occasions and allegedly verbally abusing his wife.. as a result, he says his clients refused to do further business with him, so he argued his property and civil rights were affected.. after losing three internal church appeals of his expulsion, wall made an application with the court of queen's bench in calgary which ordered a hearing to first determine if there was jurisdiction for the court to hear the application.. decisions and appeals.
a judge decided the superior court did have jurisdiction to hear the application.. the church then appealed wall's decision to the alberta court of appeal, which upheld the court of queen's bench, affirming the court has jurisdiction to hear the matter.. one of the three appeal court judges dissented — arguing that congregations are private organizations akin to bridge clubs, whose decisions "are not enforceable promises and have limited, if any, impact outside its small circle.".

When did the Iron Age start according to the Bible? You'll be surprised!
by Crazyguy inread this over at reddit so the credit goes to the person over there but in genesis 4:22 it's say one of the offspring of adam knew how to work with iron roughly 130 years after the creation of man.
now historians and scientists say man didn't figure out how to use iron until about 1100 bc, man we're we wrong!
it's also interesting that cain is building a city when there like 10 people on the planet and nimrod goes on to build the tower of babel only about 100 year after the flood.

My grandad recently died. He was 95 years old. He was around before Lindbergh flew the Atlantic
Landy: The Airplanes he saw, Lilienthal, Wright, Lindbergh, Ford tri-motor, Mosquito, Spruce goose, were much like the ark, made from wood. mostly.
Glad your granddad saw a lot, hope a life well lived.

Hoser, That tree grows high in the mountain, so, perhaps water covered Everest only for a few minutes, long enough to drown the last hanger-ons, and then dropped rapidly, leaving the tree, and other methuselah offspring well watered. killed the talking snakes though.

Women are looked down when they marry a man even 2 years older than they.
Blondi, not by men they are not, must be by a jealous "sister" .--I know a mister who is ~35 years older than his wife and has a daughter in pre school, in his late 80s.
here is the rub for ladies, men can have children aged past 100, ladies half that. The BBC had an article blaming/linking the longevity of the human race on these old geezers passing on their selfish genes through young ladies.
My biggest mistake as a long past elder?: -- I did not discern and help a single sister with child to repel a really pathetic jw suitor.
marriage is falling out of favour with in the general population, and wt's insistence is actually a plus in couples coupling. permanently.

that late iron/ steel use is a question for the Pyramid builders too. which was done during the time of the deluge bsw.
researchers tried with stone masons using copper, bronze tools to shape such blocks, and it took more time to keep the chisels sharp than to hammer away.
The pyramids were just stacks, there is no way to build a wooden, stressed structure with fasteners only, even if you have first growth timber hundert meters long. build with dulling , saws, axes, planes, chisels by a crew of 4.
Wooden dowels, copper rivets might just hold for 9 month, even show less rust than iron.
P.S.May be Noah used the daughters of men to distract the angels, soon to be demons, that handled the twirling swords at the entrance to Eden to let them analyze the new metal alloy, and speed the assembly of the ark?
Notice that both Noah and Jesus were woodworkers. tall tales of tall ships.

Castro v Bushman
by Richard Oliver inbelen castro sued the toppenish congregation along with watchtower bible and tract society of new york and watchtower bible and tract society, because she was molested when she was 11 and 12 years old.
he had sued virgil bushman, the perpetrator, but that was settled prior.
watchtower along with the congregation won the motion for summary judgment and belen then appealed the decision.

because "sound" is the first testing ground in advancement, he made it never past that stage because he concentrated on grooming Castro there instead of working the controls? . The question is, what was the girl and her mother doing, both, behind the sound booth?
not specific to this case, but could there be a parallel between the RC priest scandal and this wt weakness? Perhaps the strict wt control of sexual activity at all levels leads some to use these unconventional outlets, ( groping behind the soundbooth).
Should not wt have spelled out groping as a disfellowshipping offence to make the deterrent list complete?

Interesting how mature single sisters (single for different reasons) cope with not having achieved power status in the congregation via marriage, and a husband to dominate or manipulate (whatever is worse).
