congregations being dispanded and kingdom halls closing down and being sold off.... official announcements within the next month apparently .

does anyone else have anymore info?.

in his last couple of vlogs, john cedars is wearing a t-shirt saying shunned.

some people liked it and asked him if they could purchase one.. in his last vlog (#111) he is advertising it and mentioned the link www.apostee.com, based in the us.

comments attached to vlog # 110 mentioned the fact that this company will close in april and that the business will be continued by cedars itself, who has also a stock of anti-witness items.. besides that, he was not the owner of jwsurvey.org, but since january 16, 2016 he is.. it looks (as mentioned before by simon in an earlier thread), this guy is making a living from his activism, a paid career.. one should seriously question his true motives, demonstrated in his activism.

I really couldn't care less. He's doing his thing and good luck to him. If you don't like his content, don't look at it. If you don't want to buy merchandise then don't. If you want to call him out on something then there are direct routes like his website or social media feeds to do so.

I am sad that his personality seems to overshadow the relevance of much of his content with many but I am sure we would all be better off just letting all of these various "out there" activists just get on with it. Most of them, with the exception of aposta-chick and the wonderful katie-kitten are pretty marmite anyway - you either love 'em or hate 'em. If you're going to bitch why not just bitch at the JW organisation?

2016 Memorial Done & Dusted

well on this side of the planet, the southern hemisphere/ new zealand, the 2016 memorial service in local kingdom halls will be over for another year.

some family and relatives will have gone - but unless i ask my sister, i generally have no idea about attendance and partaker numbers.

Still having to attend tonight but have not participated at all in the lead up. No ministry. No chucking out invitations. No bible reading. No hyping it up with the family.

I keep hearing the stupid line about this year possibly being the last year JWs will attend the memorial. I really hope it's my last year.

there was a terrorist attack in brussells, couple of bombs detonated in the brussell airport and the metro.. 36 dead so far.. i send my sincerest condolences to the people of belgium.. the motive seems to be revenge for the capture of the last surviving member of the paris terrorist attacks..

Whilst I don't question your view in principle smiddy, especially the need for the involvement of middle eastern nations, I do wonder exactly how you eradicate a viral ideology with guns?
