The Bible is NOT Error-Free

for many christians, the bible is viewed as the 100% error-free, perfect book straight from god, where every single word was carefully chosen by god for a reason.

but, usually, when you have a discussion on the topic, these christians will end up saying that only the original copies written directly from the hands of the prophets and apostles were error-free, and all manuscript copies since then are subject to copyist mistakes and other errors.. since zero original copies are in existence, how do we know the originals were error-free?

why should we think the originals should be error-free to begin with?

According to the best cholars the variations in the text that are appearing in manuscripts, payri or pergament or later codices have many reasons and are a wonderful tool to study the history of "new testament" /greek scriptures history. The variations can be idfentified and are absolutely not destorying the text undertanding.
Why are you citing words of jesus if you are not sure about errors at all? Which variations are basis of the todays bible text has been studied by hundreds of bible scholars in the history, the todays translations are reliable enough to understand the text.

The GB still believe that there were anointed on earth throughout the last 1900 years but if they were not qualified to provide spiritual food then how did they become anointed? This means that during those 1900 years the anointed did not need to know bible truths, including the requirement to preach to others. On what basis did God select them in order to anoint them?

Surely, if those individuals were anointed by God during this period of time without the need to receive or pass on spiritual food or the need to be part of an earthly organization (or God's earthly organization) then there is no such requirement today for one to be selected to be anointed.

By giving this speech Splane is including Charles T Russel as being disqualified to be appointed as the FDS.

But obviously the moste important fact is, as other commentators already said in other threads, who say that the goal of the whole action is to make place for the growing numbers of memorial partakers. So 1919 FDS in action, 1971 GB freed itself from WT-Society and acts as independent body that is not reporting to the watchtower, whereas Brother Gerrit Loesch himself is a part of FDS and GB not reporting to the watchtower. Most shocking fact is for me that we cannot identify the 144000 but our life depends on them, without connection to this anonymous secret brothers of christ class we can get eternal life, they are the Co-mediators of christ in JW-Belief. Whereas the Bible says only through Christ himself, no mediators, you get eternal life.

The JW heaven is a distinct place, real place in the material cosmos!, the catholic heaven is a symbol for a place near Gods heart, and our heaven is open for prayers to our saints , cool. Do the 144000 now live somewhere and enjoy the 100 year festival? Why are they not reporting to the watchtower about the already deleted false prophesy by jesus on the throne? Why not comforting the GB or the remnant bros if they live and already sit on their thrones..by a call or tweet.....or are they dead and waiting for their kingdom job yet because a new light had established? What eccactly is the job of the remainig members of the remnant slave class... while they are confusing the whole mankind about their identity? Do the remaining remnants have a voive at all?

Hey prologos: The catolic Saints are not anointed for a special service in the kingdom... they are only models, they represent each of us, you and me.. you are sanctified by god himself, All saints means lately all who are loved by jesus, this is celebrated at all saints day, all hallow, that all christians are sanctified and able to get divine blessings, they are ecamples not ....kings not arrogant, they can be named, identified, the 144ooo can not be identified, thats the difference! We can ask the saints to help us to find our way in our life, the 144000 dont help us really, how could they if we dont know them.so the anonym 144000 class or antitype can be misused by the watchtowe, because only they know who they arewritte in their secret scrolls.. hahahs... in old watvchtowers. Perhsps the 14400 will help us more in the millenium, but we cannot ask them for help because they are not identified and unreachable in jw heaven, far away of our daily sorrows.

Whenever the bible was available in scrolls form or in bookform is not the matter.... our judge is jesus.... he judges us not for mental knowledge, mental ability of bible passages, mental knowledge about old or new covenant whethera law applies or not., how much we study the bible book in family whorship, jesus did not tell his apostels to write a book to recite or remember, he did not say that we have to study the bible, to study theology, to study types or antitypes,..... later the church added the 4 gospels, and apostle letters to the canon only to better remember jesus, a possibiliy to hear jesus in his words, although jesus never said to make notes on his conventions with his disciples ;-) ......only to listen..;-). and he said as our fathers remembered without notes .....Judgement is according to the kowlege by heart this is Love to god, our connection to him, jesus only wants mercy, love and faith .....not mental knowledge .....that we have mercy towards others. Lately Jw will discover that their jwlogy was an unnecessary phantasm a chimera, the authentic faith is in the church (Catholic and sister churches)

The fact that the roman catolic church and the asian sister churches together brought the christia gospel together with bibles into to whole world is the fulmilment of Mat. 24, 14 And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in the whole world as a testimony to all nations, and then the end will come.

Only after Jehovas witnesses and adventists and their prostestant teachers learned the gosple of jesus from missionaries they founded a sect and decided to explain the kingdom as a "humanlike" governement, a government like all government on earth but a little bit more perfect, so they tried to steal the success of the catolic preaching work and to make their own preaching work appearing the only one existing. Now even Splane admits that the catolic church was the only church that brought the gospel to the whole world as Jesus and the holy spirit wanted. AAhaaa! Splane come back to the mother church, we will forgive you.

It is not possible, as I always say, that Jesus and the holy spirit would have been 2000 years inactive and

that Jesus came to earth and then 2000 years people would have to live in spiritual darkness only to wait for JT Russell or the FDS class 1919? Stupid idea. Throught the catolic evangelisation the christian faith influenced the whole world. It is not true that catolic priests did not know the pospel as Splan indicates. Althought the christian faith influence so many things, the problem was that the christian faith did never really play the main role in the life of people and in some epoches church leaders that new the bible were not willing to live according to the gospel, some like Francis of Assisi wanted to live according to the gospel. But he did not leave the church, because there is only one christ and only one church. The last 2000 years were not easy for the church, for the missionaries, but God knew what risk, but the bible survived, but the church survived. and in the underground christianity is the basis of our western culture. Jesus christ is God and he is strong enought to stand all the difficult times.
