I disagree,
if they knew that WT encourages so called repentant child molesters to call on unsuspecting householders,I think they would find it very relevent to whether they should have that right or not or at the very least not make it so easy for them.

i just received the following email a few minutes ago, anyone care to suggest a response?.

do your math......my children are safer within the jehovah's witnesses than in any other organization......... .

if you compare the cases of child molestation and other acts with the stories of happiness and success ....the success stories will overwhelm all other negative stories........ .

Are you an Afghan Crack Baby?

just as a crack baby has no say in his/her decision to be under the control of an evil substance so to becoming a jw was not a decision i made for myself.

i was born into the controlled world of jehovah's witnesses, just as many others here were too.

i was speaking with someone today and i (being the usual good-for-nothing do-gooder i am) commented on how i feel so sad for the afghan kids and their lot in life.

I identify with what your saying,in fact I remember feeling the same way when I first left the organization.

I described it in another way in a post on the old H20.
I remember saying that I missed my comfy secure little box that I had been raised in.

I was afraid and sadly dissapointed.I knew that I had been raised in a fantasy world but for alittle while I wanted all the answers or another fantasy to take its place.

Others tried to reasure me as we have been doing with you.
I promise it will get better if you will continue on your journey.
It's hard to relax in this new environment of freedom.

It also reminds me of an animal that has been raised in captivity and then let out.They freak out at first.So you have to reasure them and go slowly until they feel more confident.

Now I can honestly say that I do not want to be in a box or fantasy anymore. I'll fight anyone who trys to put me there!
Things will get easier.

Am I crazy or what!

most of you are are aware that i sent out a letter to friends and family exposing the organizations association with the un.. since that time there have been several very important developments including wtbs dissacociating themselves from the un.. because of this i felt i had to get this new information out to everyone i had writen the origional letter to.. i sent this update to out of town friends and family.i encluded a copy of the un letter announcing wt's dissacociation and the two guardian articles.. my plan met with a problem.i knew my local po had warned everyone not to read anything else from me.i knew he would do this so i even sent him a letter along with the rest to show that i stand behind what i wrote and i'm not afraid of him.. today i did the only thing i could think of,i wrote a new letter to the po.. here it is,.

dear po 10-16-01. circumstances have changed since my last letter to you and others.. i am honor bound to update you and them of these changes.

im sure that youve told everyone not to open anything from me so thats why i am writing to you only.. the information i sent earlier was accurate and true at the time but as i stated earlier things have changed.. enclosed please find an official copy of the october 11th 2001 letter announcing the termination of the wtbs association with the united nations.
