Aww mom, he liked you. Said you had a "tight ass", that's a compliment. Bitch is just a red neck reference to a woman.
Now, stick up for me and my babies.

God, all you people whining about kids. I just might make them kick a few seats from Seattle to Boston. Telling me my kid is doing something will not piss me off. Don't be such a coward. I do not have to suffer through a road trip just because your parents did. I can afford to buy a full fare ticket for each kid and I will.
Ashi is now in the cage next to eyegirl.

Lisa, you said it well. I always keep an eye on my kids and make sure they aren't annoying other people. My kids are good on planes too. It is hard though. They are usually tired and hungry and excited to get where we are going. They are four and five and wiggly. Normal.
Eyegirl, I don't give a sh*t what NH people call Mass people. I live in Seattle and have all my life. Resorting to calling me names was totally childish. Maybe we should put you in a cage.

Eyegirl, if you just took the time to read you would have noticed I mentioned on the first page that I am flying WITH MY KIDS from Seattle to Boston in a few weeks. Before that last comment I was going to let it go thinking you were just trying to be funny or something. Now I just don't like you.

I didn't like eyegirls suggestion to put children in cages either. They are not animals they are little people who don't like being cooped up on an airplane. Sorry a kid kicked your seat. Stand up and do something about it. Turning around and looking does not alert the parents that the child is kicking. We don't always notice every single annoying thing they do. Tell the parents, if they don't do anything, tell a flight attendant. Don't insult every parent on the board because you can't use your voice.
Joanna, same goes for you. I hope some day you have kids and you re-read what you posted here. Totally insulting.
I can totally overreact any time I want when it has to do with my kids. It is the hardest job there is to raise them and to be insulted by some kid who hasn't had any yet just pisses me off.
Jim, my husband's sister lives in Ashland. I'm going to visit a friend in New Hampshire before heading back to Mass. Where are you?

do you find that some days you feel just a tad old?
mention passing 3,000 and you start to feel the winter chill in your bones.
but as i look back over my posting life here, i can reminisce and think of how far the road has brought us.
Here's to Ozzie on his 3000 posts!!!! <<clinks cappucino glass noisily>>>Today is my one year anniversary on the board. I just don't have as much to say...only in the 740s.
I always enjoy your posts and look forward to 3000 more.

I think it's a fair idea. SW is really an inexpensive way to fly, if the larger people don't like it they can always fly on another carrier.
I am going to fly from Seattle to Boston in a few weeks. Non-stop with my two kids. Six hours. They are small and definitely don't fill the seat but I can't help but think my space will be encroached upon anyway.
I'm still trying to figure out how to keep the four year old occupied. Last time we flew was a year ago and a short flight to Disneyland. How do I keep her busy? She is REALLY wiggly. Rhys will be a breeze. Gameboy, new books, that's all he needs.

what brings a smile to your face?
i cant help but smile when my wife laughs, or when my kids play outside.
i also smile when my boy, who is 15 wants to talk to me.
Watching my little ballerina dance in her first recital made me smile until I cried.
Listening to my five year old son reading over my shoulder makes me smile.
My daughter's princess birthday party on Saturday where all five of her friends raided her closet so they could wear a princess dress too made me smile.
Watching my husband smile at the kids warms my heart.
Knowing my kids are safe from the borg...priceless.
