If there's no other way to save all the articles in one tidy file, I have a suggestion. If you have ICQ and high speed internet access, I'll transfer a copy of the file (about 72MBs) over to you. Once you have it, you'll be able to open it with Internet Explorer AND read all the articles in the links!
Same goes for you jst2laws, in case the links come down (the other two links on that site are already down...darn it).

I fired up my virtual PC emulator on my Mac running Windows 95 with the latest Internet Explorer for PC, version 5.5...and unfortunately, while it allows you to save the web-page that you're on, it won't let you save any of the links. Meaning, you'd have to save every article manually. :-(
Of course, there is a bright side to this....get a Mac! The cheapest iMacs cost under $1000US, they sport Power PC G3 600Mhz processors (equivalent to around a 2Ghz Pentium 4 in speed), have a built in monitor, and you'll be able to save entire web-sites (and burn them to CD with the built in CD-RW) for future reference. :-)
On the other hand, maybe there's a different way to save web-sites (and to be able to set the level of deepness that you want to save) on PCs with another program. If anyone knows, speak up!

To save a website that I like, I go to FILE > SAVE AS... > choose the Format of WEB ARCHIVE, then under Options tell it to Save 1 Link deep, meaning everything on the main page, plus any links will be automatically saved to your hard drive!
All the above works on my Mac running Internet Explorer 5. I'm not sure if it works the same way on the Wintel platform.

I read everyday...on the internet! Maybe read the editorial articles in the Sunday New York Times on occasion. As for movies, I hardly watch any (I just rented the "Family Man" last week), but I do try to follow a few TV shows. I used to downhill ski quite a bit, and play football (the real football where you actually kick the ball around, not hold it in your hands and run like a pantsy out of town), but now I seem to be way toooo busy to do any of that.

in the book "the nations shall know that i am jehovah" they prophecied the end to come in the "20th century".
there is also a page where they claim to be prophets but i cannot find it.
does anyone know what page this is on?
In many past WTS publications, from magazines, to books, to KMs, the WTS had at one point or another said that the world wide preaching work would be reaching its conclusion during the 20th Century and that Armageddon would certainly come during the 20th Century.
Hmmm....maybe if we show the "faithfull" JWs those quotes, they might decide that they don't have to go out in the door to door service anymore! Just a thought. LOL

Hi Philo,
That link you provided is great. I was able to download the entire Watchtower articles from 1879 to 1916 in web browser format onto my hard drive (I'll be burning it on CD soon)...then by indexing the entire 72MB download using the Sherlock application (Mac only) I can find (almost) anything that was written in there.
