Is this another scare tactic for the weak-minded Jehovah's Witness recruits and experienced members?
by I_love_Jeff inwhere in the bible does it state that adam and eve are unrepentant sinners and therefore deemed forever in the grave with no chance of resurrection, of course?
is this another scare tactic for the weak-minded recruits?
i believe their theory is based on mere speculation and simply used to convince the new recruits as well as the experienced members to refrain from questioning/going against their superiors otherwise jehovah will deem you an unrepentant sinner.

How can these members live with such harsh, mental abuse? We have spent many years researching this cult and their scriptural interpretations have many many holes, it is overwhelming. It is sad to see how these people are being treated by the Watchtower. It's quite disturbing, indeed. My heart cries out to those trapped in the Watchtower Web. The Jehovah's WITLESSES are a sad group indeed.

What happens when Jehovah's Witnesses think independently? What happened to Adam when he sinned? Since when is independent thinking equivalent to disobedience?
"In keeping with the principle of this proverb, Adam acted selfishly and his foolish thinking ‘distorted his way.' His heart turned from Jehovah God, and he set out on his own selfish, independent course. Why, Adam became such an ingrate that he blamed his Creator and thus made himself an enemy of the Most High! Adam's sin brought his own way and that of his family to ruin." Watchtower Magazine 11/15/92
"Is the often heard Protestant go-to-the-church-of-your-choice mentality any different from the independent thinking that led Adam and Eve into erroneous belief and subsequent trouble?" Awake Magazine 9/8/89
What happens when JWs disobey their Superiors? Are they shunned? Treated poorly by their JW friends?
Does the New Testament not speak highly of independent thought? Their publications associate it with disobedience thus making it a negative connotation. Does this not lead to a phobia, a fear to disobey?

Since when is independent thinking equivalent to disobedience?
by I_love_Jeff inthe jehovah's witnesses say that adam decided to thinking independently and eat from the forbidden tree thus committing a terrible sin-disobeying.
how is thinking freely equivalent to disobedience?.

So in other words, do the Jehovah's Witnesses just simply have their Superiors (slave class) think for them since they are the annointed ones? Wow talk about CONTROL. The Watchtower deceitfully uses the the eisegetical approach to Scripture.

Why Do Christians today need a "governing body" of elders to be their spiritual "teacher"?
by I_love_Jeff in...........and to provide direction for their lives?.
since the bible reports that jehovah led first-century christians individually through instruction directly from the holy spirit, with no accountability to a "governing body" in jerusalem, why do christians today need a "governing body" of elders?.
here are some examples of non governing body activitiy:.

Since the Bible reports that Jehovah led first-century Christians individually through instruction directly from the Holy Spirit, with no accountability to a "governing body" in Jerusalem, why do Christians today need a "governing body" of elders?
Here are some examples of non governing body activitiy:
The Holy Spirit at Acts 13:2 directed the congregation at Antioch to send Paul and Barnabas out on their first missionary journey without any approval from a "governing body" in Jerusalem.
In Acts 8 verses 26, 29, and 40, Holy Spirit is the one who directed Philip to the territories he should preach in.
This is one of my recent questions on YA and here is a response from a JW most likely a disgruntled Elder:
"You may want to actually read the Bible for yourself instead of repeating lies your preacher told you. First you should read about Moses, who led the nation of Israel. Korah thought as you do, he was destroyed by Jehovah. Then maybe you should skip to the judges. There were many of them. They served as spiritual guides to Israel. Oh and what about all of those prophets, like Jeremiah, Daniel and Amos, they too, were spiritual guides. You mentioned Philip in your question, was Philip not serving as a spiritual helper? You may want to re-think your question as you, yourself pointed to part of your answers, you just haven't pondered it enough to grasp the meaning, have you?"
Do you see any comparison to the GB and spiritual guides of the Old Testmanent mentioned in his response? I really do not see the connection. In fact, I mention the Holy Spirit as a guide in the NT not the Old Testament.

When clearly observing Isaiah 43:10 and John 8:58, are the Jehovah's Witnesses guilty of eisegesis?

John. 13:19: "hina pisteusete ... hoti ego eimi I am [he]" (NWT)
Isaiah. 43:10: "hina pisteusete ... hoti ego eimi I am [He]" The NWT translation says "I am the same One" NWTEven if one were to theorize that Jesus Himself did not attempt to make such an obvious connection between Himself and Yahweh (which would be difficult enough to do!) why would John, being obviously familiar with the LXX, intentionally insert this kind of parallelism?

Do secular sources give a positive note on the wearing of makeup among the Israelite women in the Old Testament?
by I_love_Jeff ini posted this question on yahoo answers not to discourage those who wear makeup but to point out the ludicrous reasoning behind the mind of a jehovah's witness:.
do those findings support your wearing of makeup in modern times?
do secular sources speak highly of women who wore makeup in ancient times?.

I have come to the conclusion that the Jehovah's Witnesses use the eisegtical approach to the Scripture. Any objections based on the inconsistent teachings (birthdays vs. makeup) mentioned here?

I have nothing against wearing makeup but when hypocrites use the Bible to make weak implications based on weak biblical verses such as not celebrating birthdays because of negative association (murder), what should be said about wearing makeup?
