am looking for news story from today of woman hit in head with axe..
by orbison11 inthe reason i am looking for it, is because 2 of her daughters sat over on the side with her father in court (i think today) to support him.
the mother apparently had an affair and the hubby took an axe to her, and the girls are still supporting the father,,i was wondering if this might have had a religious side to it.
i think it happened in canada somewhere,,,would love to find the news item and possibly send it to my 4 chidren.

HELP! Trying to convince my parents I am going to meetings!
by stillAwitness ina few weeks ago i posted about about how my parents have been asking about wether or not my card has been sent to my "new congregation" since i moved out in july.
up until now, i have been stalling not knowing wether or not i wanted to just come out and say "i have not been going to meetings" or not take any action at all.
well someone left an interesting piece of advice on my thread that i have been contemplating doing.that maybe, perhaps i should just have my card sent to a congregation that isn't anywhere near the actual city i live in.

Can't wait for the Super Bowl to see Prince perform? You can spend spend New Year's Eve at the Rio in Vegas with Mr. 1999 himself ... for a cool thousand bucks.
What will you get for $1,000? You'll begin with a six-course meal, including "Sake Cilantro Cured Salmon complemented with Wasabi Cream and Salmon Pearls, and a tantalizing Center Cut Filet Mignon & Pine Valley Ranch Organic Lamb Chop, Corn Bisque with Diver Scallops, Petite Asparagus, Pomme de Terre" ... oh, it goes on and on.

well yesterday i worked too late to get to postoffice,,,and today we had a major power outage at noon, wouldnt be fixed till 10 pm,,most of downtown out of power

if a man beats his wife, and there are two witnesses does he get df'd? my x did with my teen son as a witness, and he was not df'd (apparently i pushed his buttons and made him do it and also it was the divorce of the century here in the k-dub world)
does anyone here have their email, other than doing a cut and paste on their web site where it asks if you want a bible study
