  i just thought i'd share something if you don't mind.. my conviction in the legitimacy of the society was slowy eroded over a number of years simply by reading the publications and becoming increasingly frustrated at how little the interpretations of prophecy and scripture made sense, added to the complete ineptitude of senior figures in the organisation.. for me, the "glue" that kept everything roughly held together into something that can be called a "faith" was the concept of "increasing light", which as you all know is the principle employed by the society to excuse any mistakes or backtracks that are made.

  they routinely flog proverbs 4:18, which as we all know has nothing to do with gradual refinements in understanding when read in context.

  regardless of this, the concept managed to keep me loyal to the organisation for quite some time, as i was too fearful to bring it under direct scrutiny.

  Do know that there IS a way of thinking that is tied all the time

  to the Bible? What is anyone who doesn't want to

  talk about the Bible doing here? Is this forum ONLY for bashing

  the Watchtower Society and newbes? In case you get to a day where there is no mercy, please

  recognize how you came there. You know what they say. OK Mr. Know it all,

  It was an adult joke. A member on another forum said the GB was the "little one"

  that we should not stumble. I think the "sin that leads clear up to heaven" is that which

  hurts them there, but dear star dot dash (that's her name) had to make some laugh up there

  in heaven with that whopper! You know that if you stumble the GB better to be thrown

  in the big blue sea with cements boots on. I love you all.

  The Holy Spirit is the FDS. Because the Head of every man is the Christ

  who is in association with the Holy Spirit. And then I was warning

  and we are warned by the examlpe of Daniel and his friends not

  to eat the delicacies of the king, (the king in this instance being

  Hello, I felt insulted. You do not ask me "what do you mean?"

  you say I have "no good reason". When you insult a person you

  should be sure you mean what you say. Are you sure?

  I believe in all things only Jehovah is "sure". So, no, I am

  not sure that I want to talk to you at all. In fact whenever I talk about spirit

  people do not know what I am saying. Why do I bother? I don't know.

  But does anyone else think it is strange that people believe the Bible,

  but don't want to know it? The argument (quarrel) has been going on for years

  about how The Watchtower is wrong. Why does no one put side by side the

  Harlot's translation next to the Society's translation? It's the same except

  where Society doesn't want it to be. Why does the argument never stop?

  Because you like to fight. That's what you do. Meaning you who fight.

  Don't point out where I highjacked it, you might actually appear human.
