  What songs stand the test of time?

  seeing as i'm dowloading songs so i can blast them at the neighbour kids, i was thinking, what songs stand the test of time?

  what songs do you listen to over and over again and never get tired of.

  here's my list.. if you tolerate this - manic street preachers.

  Anyone going to GILLINGHAM Convention 2moro?? (Kent, UK)

  just come back from the first day of the gillingham, kent, uk convention.

  it was the first convention there, because i think they wanted to take the pressure off the twickenham rugby stadium... my cong was assigned to twickenham stadium, not to gillingham, but i "volonteered" was volonteered by our po (the same one who's on a rampage to appoint me as a "mini"... .

  i didn't do much today, was assigned to car park duty, then went to sit down for the 1st and 2nd talks... took some notes, then decided to walk around to look for "poztates"... i didn't find any... (we should have a way of noticing each other), i didn't write my name or cong on my badge, so i thought that might be a little sign which might go un-noticed by the r&f, but i didn't attract any attention apart from a couple sisters who looked at me and called me "brother blank"... .

  ok sometimes i feel it's good to maybe not redress the balance, but at least can you say something positive that you gained from your jw experience.

  so thats what i want you to do, if you so feel inclined.

  can you say or mention something that had a positive effect on you when you were a witness?

  me too Nina. In my experience, I remeember a very good lot of Witnesses on the whole.. Not just in my congregation, but regularly we have Witness patients. Even some of my nursing colleagues who know nothing of my past, say even though they have difficulty getting their head round the blood issue, the witnesses always seem like so much more pleasant people than other religions. I have to smile.
