Hello everyone, Using some of the material posted recently , I have made further research and prepared the following. From ‘The Watchtower’ January 1st, 2007 , page 28 § 12 : "At this point we it may be helpful to consider what might be viewed as a Bible parallel. Jesus Christ was anointed as future King in the fall of 29 CE. Three and a half years later in the spring of 33 CE he was resurrected as a mighty spirit person. Could it then be reasoned that since Jesus was enthroned in the fall of 1914, the resurrection of his faithful anointed followers began 3 1/2 years later in the spring of 1918? That is an interesting possibility. Although this cannot be directly confirmed in the bible, it is not out of harmony with other scriptures that indicate that the first resurrection got under way soon after Christ's presence began." (°) (°)Please, do remember that, 49 years ago , the 'Paradise Lost, to Paradise Regained' book, published by the WTB&T Society of Pennsylvania in 1958, on page 192, paragraph 30 , stated in no uncertain terms: "One of the many enlightening truths that God now gave his witnesses was about the members of God's spiritual nation who had died physically. This was in 1927. In that year the witnesses understood that the dead spiritual Israelites had been raised in 1918 to life in heaven with Christ Jesus. It was an invisible resurrection, of course." Therefore, as far back as the year 1927, the Societydeclared/stated/taught and published world wide that it was God himself who gave them this truth . Therefore today, almost 80 YEARS after, it looks rather impossible to repudiate (°) such teaching or to modify it by declating that : “…the resurrection of his faithful anointed … in the spring of 1918 …is an interesting possibility. “ (°) According to the Society owns word: *** w86 4/1 30-1 Questions From Readers *** Why have Jehovah’s Witnesses disfellowshipped (excommunicated) for apostasy some who still profess belief in God, the Bible, and Jesus Christ? Those who voice such an objection point out that many religious organizations claiming to be Christian allow dissident views. Even some clergymen disagree with basic teachings of their church, yet they remain in good standing. In nearly all the denominations of Christendom, there are modernists and fundamentalists who greatly disagree with one another as to the inspiration of the Scriptures. However, such examples provide no grounds for our doing the same. Why not? Many of such denominations allow widely divergent views among the clergy and the laity because they feel they cannot be certain as to just what is Bible truth. They are like the scribes and Pharisees of Jesus’ day who were unable to speak as persons having authority, which is how Jesus taught. (Matthew 7:29) Moreover, to the extent that religionists believe in interfaith, they are obligated not to take divergent beliefs too seriously. But taking such a view of matters has no basis in the Scriptures. Jesus did not make common cause with any of the sects of Judaism. Jews of those sects professed to believe in the God of creation and in the Hebrew Scriptures, particularly the Law of Moses. Still, Jesus told his disciples to “watch out . . . for the teaching of the Pharisees and Sadducees.” (Matthew 16:11, 12; 23:15) Note also how strongly the apostle Paul stated matters: “Even if we or an angel out of heaven were to declare to you as good news something beyond what we declared to you as good news, let him be accursed.” Paul then repeated that statement for emphasis.—Galatians 1:8, 9. Teaching dissident or divergent views is not compatible with true Christianity, as Paul makes clear at 1 Corinthians 1:10: “I appeal to you, brothers, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that all of you agree with one another so that there may be no divisions among you and that you may be perfectly united in mind and thought.” (New International Version) At Ephesians 4:3-6 he further stated that Christians should be “earnestly endeavoring to observe the oneness of the spirit in the uniting bond of peace. One body there is, and one spirit, even as you were called in the one hope to which you were called; one Lord, one faith, one baptism; one God and Father of all persons.” Was this unity to be achieved and maintained by each one’s independently searching the Scriptures, coming to his own conclusions, and then teaching these? Not at all! Through Jesus Christ, Jehovah God provided for this purpose “some as apostles, . . . some as evangelizers, some as shepherds and teachers . . . until we all attain to the oneness in the faith and in the accurate knowledge of the Son of God, to a full-grown man.” Yes, with the help of such ministers, congregational unity—oneness in teaching and activity—could be and would be possible.—Ephesians 4:11-13. Obviously, a basis for approved fellowship with Jehovah’s Witnesses cannot rest merely on a belief in God, in the Bible, in Jesus Christ, and so forth. The Roman Catholic pope, as well as the Anglican Archbishop of Canterbury, professes such beliefs, yet their church memberships are exclusive of each other. Likewise, simply professing to have such beliefs would not authorize one to be known as one of Jehovah’s Witnesses. Approved association with Jehovah’s Witnesses requires accepting the entire range of the true teachings of the Bible, including those Scriptural beliefs that are unique to Jehovah’s Witnesses. What do such beliefs include? That the great issue before humankind is the rightfulness of Jehovah’s sovereignty, which is why he has allowed wickedness so long. (Ezekiel 25:17) That Jesus Christ had a prehuman existence and is subordinate to his heavenly Father. (John 14:28) That there is a “faithful and discreet slave” upon earth today ‘entrusted with all of Jesus’ earthly interests,’ which slave is associated with the Governing Body of Jehovah’s Witnesses. (Matthew 24:45-47) That 1914 marked the end of the Gentile Times and the establishment of the Kingdom of God in the heavens, as well as the time for Christ’s foretold presence. (Luke 21:7-24; Revelation 11:15–12:10) That only 144,000 Christians will receive the heavenly reward. (Revelation 14:1, 3) That Armageddon, referring to the battle of the great day of God the Almighty, is near. (Revelation 16:14, 16; 19:11-21) That it will be followed by Christ’s Millennial Reign, which will restore an earth-wide paradise. That the first to enjoy it will be the present “great crowd” of Jesus’ “other sheep.”—John 10:16; Revelation 7:9-17; 21:3, 4. Do we have Scriptural precedent for taking such a strict position? Indeed we do! Paul wrote about some in his day: “Their word will spread like gangrene. Hymenaeus and Philetus are of that number. These very men have deviated from the truth, saying that the resurrection has already occurred; and they are subverting the faith of some.” (2 Timothy 2:17, 18; see also Matthew 18:6.) There is nothing to indicate that these men did not believe in God, in the Bible, in Jesus’ sacrifice. Yet, on this one basic point, what they were teaching as to the time of the resurrection, Paul rightly branded them as apostates, with whom faithful Christians would not fellowship. Similarly, the apostle John termed as antichrists those who did not believe that Jesus had come in the flesh. They may well have believed in God, in the Hebrew Scriptures, in Jesus as God’s Son, and so on. But on this point, that Jesus had actually come in the flesh, they disagreed and thus were termed “antichrist.” John goes on to say regarding those holding such variant views: “If anyone comes to you and does not bring this teaching, never receive him into your homes or say a greeting to him. For he that says a greeting to him is a sharer in his wicked works.”—2 John 7, 10, 11. Following such Scriptural patterns, if a Christian (who claims belief in God, the Bible, and Jesus) unrepentantly promotes false teachings, it may be necessary for him to be expelled from the congregation. (See Titus 3:10, 11.) Of course, if a person just has doubts or is uninformed on a point, qualified ministers will lovingly assist him. This accords with the counsel: “Continue showing mercy to some that have doubts; save them by snatching them out of the fire.” (Jude 22, 23) Hence, the true Christian congregation cannot rightly be accused of being harshly dogmatic, but it does highly value and work toward the unity encouraged in God’s Word. °°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°° According to this QfR all the teaching about the resurrection prior to 1927, would be called, apostasy or deviation from the truth. What about the "changing" on the January 1st Watchtower? Another question...Why? Just as a reminder of what has been taught and published on the subject, the last decades: in 1993 *** jv 632 28 Testing and Sifting From Within *** Based on the premise that events of the first century might find parallels in related events later, they also concluded that if Jesus’ baptism and anointing in the autumn of 29 C.E. paralleled the beginning of an invisible presence in 1874, then his riding into Jerusalem as King in the spring of 33 C.E. would point to the spring of 1878 as the time when he would assume his power as heavenly King. (°) They also thought they would be given their heavenly reward at that time. When that did not occur, they concluded that since Jesus’ anointed followers were to share with him in the Kingdom, the resurrection to spirit life of those already sleeping in death began then. “ (°)*** jv 633 28 Testing and Sifting From Within *** See “The Truth Shall Make You Free,” chapter XI; “The Kingdom Is at Hand,” pages 171-5; also The Golden Age, March 27, 1935, pages 391, 412. In the light of these corrected tables of Bible chronology, it could be seen that previous use of the dates 1873 and 1878, as well as related dates derived from these on the basis of parallels with first-century events, were based on misunderstandings. in 1988 *** re 73 13 Buy Gold Refined by Fire *** In another crucial year, 1914, Jesus arrived to sit down on his own Messianic throne as King and Judge. The judgment began in 1918 with professed Christians. Anointed conquerors who died before that time would then be resurrected and join Jesus in his Kingdom. (Matthew 25:31; 1 Peter 4:17) in 1988 *** re chap. 17 p. 103 par. 12 ‘Slaughtered Souls’ Rewarded *** All the evidence indicates that this heavenly resurrection began in 1918, after Jesus’ enthronement in 1914 and his riding forth to start his kingly conquest by cleansing the heavens of Satan and his demons. in 1988 *** re chap. 38 p. 274 par. 6 Praise Jah for His Judgments! *** It was in 1918 that Jehovah began rewarding ‘those fearing his name, the small and the great’—the first of these being the anointed Christians who had died faithful, whom he resurrected and stationed in the heavenly ranks of the 24 elders. (Revelation 11:18) in 1988 *** w88 10/15 p. 12 par. 13 "This Is the Day of All Days" *** In harmony with this and according to all the evidence, those of the anointed who had already died faithful began to be resurrected to their promised place in the heavenly sanctuary starting in 1918. (1 Thessalonians 4:16; Revelation 6:9-11) in 1986 *** w86 10/1 p. 14 Comfort From the God of Peace *** The Watchtower has long presented the view that this resurrection of anointed Christians from death commenced in the year 1918. in 1979 *** w79 6/15 p. 29 par. 10 Living Now in That "Last Day" of Resurrection *** The spiritual resurrection of the "dead in Christ" in the spring of 1918, three and a half years from the enthronement of Christ at the end of the Gentile Times in autumn of 1914, would parallel Jesus’ own resurrection on Nisan 16, 33 C.E., "at the half of the week." (Dan. 9:27) in 1970 *** w70 6/1 p. 331 par. 22 Do You Have "Faith to the Preserving Alive of the Soul"? *** The resurrection of the anointed Christians, who number 144,000, is to spirit life in heaven and it began to occur in 1918 C.E., after the establishment of the heavenly Kingdom in 1914. (Rev. 12:1-5; 14:1, 4; 20:4-6; 1 Cor. 15:50-55) Such Christians are "made perfect" in the heavens prior to the earthly resurrection of faithful pre-Christian witnesses of Jehovah in 1967 *** w67 6/1 p. 345 The Wedding That Brings Worldwide Rejoicing *** Evidence from the prophecies of the Bible and their fulfillment in our timeindicates that Jesus Christ came with his Father, Jehovah God, to the temple for judgment in 1918 C.E. He first turned his attention to the members of his Bride who were asleep in death and resurrected them. They, of course, joined the Bridegroom at that time. in 1966 *** w66 1/1 p. 30 A New Priesthood Begins *** In 1918 he began to resurrect his faithful congregation to be with him. in 1966 *** w66 2/15 p. 123 Does Peter Now Use the Keys of the Kingdom? *** “In 1918 he was resurrected to the heavens along with the other faithful members of Christ’s congregation who had died prior to that time. But Peter is no gatekeeper…” in 1965 *** w65 2/15 p. 102 par. 7 For Whom There Are Resurrection Hopes *** According to indications in the Bible, their resurrection began in the year 1918 C.E., or three and a half years after Jesus Christ was enthroned and crowned as heavenly King to begin ruling in the midst of his enemies. (Ps. 110:1, 2; Heb. 10:12, 13; Rev. 14:13) in 1963 (from the book : "Babylon The Great Has Fallen!"-God's Kingdom Rules! ) *** bf 512 22 From Her Fall Till the "Wine Press" Is Trodden *** But as regards the remnant of the 144,000, they do not sleep in death to await the coming of Jesus Christ as King and the beginning of the judgment that results in Babylon’s fall. When that judgment starts, as it did in 1918, the Lamb of God is already in his kingdom on the heavenly Mount Zion. So after 1918 they need not sleep in death. What does that mean for them? This, that immediately after they die, they are resurrected. Since they are to be “united with him in the likeness of his resurrection,” they die or are put to death in the flesh, but are “made alive in the spirit.” (1 Peter 3:18) Thus they have a spiritual, heavenly resurrection, that is unseen to human eyes “ in 1960 *** w60 7/15 p. 440 par. 6 Staying Awake with the "Faithful and Discreet Slave" *** It was God’s will for the awakening of the remnant on earth to follow the 1918 heavenly resurrection of anointed ones who died prior to that time. (Rev. 11:18) in 1960 *** w60 8/1 p. 462 "Creating New Heavens and a New Earth" *** Just as the Jewish leaders’ rejection of Jesus could not prevent God’s raising of his Son from the dead, so Christendom’s rejection of the King could not prevent God from raising Jesus’ faithful followers from the dead.So in harmony with the picture of 1900 years ago, it was only a short time after the temple’s cleansing in 1918 that the heavenly resurrection of the anointed Christians sleeping in death took place, unseen to human eyes. in 1960 *** w60 8/1 p. 462 "Creating New Heavens and a New Earth" *** The spring of A.D. 1918 marked the opening of the temple to the King’s entrance and thereafter the resurrection of the anointed Christians who, along with Jesus, make up "the temple of the living God."—2 Cor. 6:16. in 1959 *** w59 2/1 p. 84 par. 28 Maintaining Our Spiritual Paradise *** Since the setting up of the heavenly kingdom in 1914 and since the coming of Jehovah and his Messenger of the covenant, Jesus Christ, to the spiritual temple in 1918 , the dead apostles and other spirit-begotten Christians who died faithful prior to those events have been resurrected. Jesus was used to resurrect these world conquerors from the dead. (John 6:54-57) in 1959 *** w59 6/1 p. 347 The Resurrection Hope *** Fulfillment of Bible prophecy indicates that the resurrection of these body members of Christ began when he came to his house for judgment in 1918 . in 1958 *** w58 8/1 p. 464 Calling the Members of the Kingdom of Heaven *** The "man not clothed with the wedding garment" actually represents a class of people who were made manifest after Jehovah accompanied by Christ Jesus came to the temple for judgment A.D. 1918 . The present time, since that year, is when the marriage of Jehovah’s Son is being consummated by resurrecting all the spirit-begotten saints who died faithful before 1918 or have since died and uniting them in never-ending wedlock with the heavenly Bridegroom. in 1954 *** w54 5/1 276-7 The Miracle of Resurrection 15 The time of their resurrection is shown in the words: “In the Christ all will be made alive. But each one in his own rank: Christ [Jesus] the firstfruits, afterward those who belong to the Christ during his presence.” (1 Cor. 15:22, 23, NW) His presence as immortal, reigning King is now here. Since 1918 he has turned his attention to these body members, and the dead ones he has raised up. “ in 1954 *** w54 4/1 p. 220 par. 14 The "Likeness of Melchizedek" Christ has been invisibly present in his kingdom since A.D. 1914, and those who died faithful belonging to him as members of the royal priesthood have had this "earlier resurrection" since his coming to the temple in 1918 .—Mal. 3:1-5; Rev. 11:15 to 12:5. in 1954 *** w54 5/1 p. 285 par. 25 Resurrection Our Strength-giving Hope *** The time is steadily drawing closer when it will be a reality, not only to members of the 144,000, resurrected since 1918 , but to those who will live on earth.” in 1954 *** w54 6/15 p. 372 par. 12 The Revelation of Jesus Christ *** A second word, epipháneia, translated "manifestation," means appearing, manifestation or a coming to light or to view. The use of this word points to Christ’s appearance in the temple for judgment in 1918 and marks the beginning of favorable judgment, first, in the resurrection of the anointed already asleep in death (2 Tim. 4:8) Greetings to all, J.C. Hello everyone,
I couldn't resist to visit the "post" which took so much research and time from me
and from many, many others and look back to that day when I posted :
August 27th 2001
How many things have surfaced since then, how many scandals have come to
the knowledge of thousands, and thousands.
How many have since then understood what really is the Watchtower Bible & Tract
Society, of New York. (Inc) and were helped to take a decision.
I can also see many new "posters" and the brilliant result of their resarches, their
clear and concise reasoning which is a great help and comfort for anyone
coming to visit this forum.
Many thanks from my heart, and greetings to all of you,

JWs in world politics: Jehovah's Witnesses Are "Politically" Neutral - NOT
by Dogpatch inhttp://www.osce.org/odihr/16533.html.
so, you say that jehovah's witnesses aren't "political" or take any part in the affairs of the world?
http://www.osce.org/documents/odihr/2006/10/21654_en.pdf what does the watchtower say about "political" involvement?

Hello Dogpatch,
just to tell you great...great, great indeed.
There are no more words to describe the WTBS Inc.
as one of great hypocrite organization. It goes to
the same degree as the ONU affair.
By the way Marcel Gilet has been for years, member
of the Belgian Bethel.
I'll take every single page , including the links , save it
and make a booklet to give to some friends... in Europe
and Australia, and also in India.
Thanks again,

How was the U.N. Scandal discovered/leaked and by whom?
by Madame Quixote ini know it's true, just wondering how it came out.
did an insider leak it or was it discovered by one of us "apostates" or did someone else have an axe to grind?
i'd like to present it to people who are still jws, but not without knowing some background on who/why/how it was found out.
