Who has experienced a REAL demonic incident?

In fact you could take this a stage further for real proof of demonic possession and fully anesthetize the subject. If they remain unchanged and are fully resistant to anesthetics then the demon is in control (or can demons be gassed too?).

Good start but, medication not working doesn't automatically equal demon posession. It could mean other drugs present, a high resistance, a genetic anomoly, etc.. In fact, the issue, rather than demons, could just as likely be leprechauns mentally projecting control of his body for having stolen a piece of their gold that they had been saving to give the Lady Unicorn at the dance. That is literally just as likely as demons.

Your brother in law better just stick with conventional medicine, or risk loosing his credentials. He is a medical doctor and has to go by the rules and guidelines of his profession.

James, you said the medical profession cannot diagnose demons because they don't believe in them. Well, we have a doctor that does. How would he make that diagnosis? Don't avoid your own comment, don't duck and run.

The bible and psychology is word therapy vs medication. I don't believe all psychology or differentiate what degree is biblical. But it is word therapy. The bible is the Word and Jesus is the Word.

Specifically what would Bible-bases treatememt entail? Not just "talking and the Bible", but specifically, how would you treat schizophrenia using the Bible? Tell them about Legion? Pray? Roll pages into a scroll and make them eat it? Hit them in the head with it?

In the case of the inmate I was with. He watched vile things on tv. Things that were not hole-some or up-building. He listened to raunchy vile music. And his family life was deplorable.

If you watch vile deplorable tv shows and movies, think there is no God and life is meaningless.Your life will become meaningless.

So? I am a director at a technology firm, I listen ti Slayer, Black Sabbath, I watch American Horror Story, Breaking Bad, I'm divorced. According to you I should be in jail and getting Bible-based therapy, yet I do charity work, have two amazing kids, am buying a house.....

Perhaps the issue isn't a lack of Jesus, it's a lack of meaning and proper care. I don't need Jesus in my life for it to be meaningful.

Anyway, how the heck do you diagnose demons vs. schizophrenia?

The medical profession cant diagnose demons because they don't believe in them.

Let's say I had a doctor that did believe in demons (I happen to know one, my brother in law). How would he test for, diagnose and differentiate schizophrenia from demon possession?

But the psychological treatment would be more biblical based.

And what would that treatment be?

Schizophrenia is related to environment and thinking patterns, those are things Jesus and the bible could address.

Schizophrenia has many causes. Specifically, which things could Jesus and Bible address to fix schizophrenia?

i want to start by saying i will not participate in discussion here about my resignation as a moderator at jwn.. simon please consider this as my resignation from that position.. i have been posting on this board for almost 12 years.

i know some of you a lot, others a little and some not very well at all.

i have remained here for those of you who have needed support as you make the transition out of the wts, who needed someone to listen to your experiences of abuse at the hands of jehovah's witnesses, and to both laugh and cry with you as you progress out of the watchtower society.. we know that we have all experienced the cruelty of abuse of one kind or another.

Having read up on schizophrenia and oscams razor, I am not sure that a diagnosis of scizophrenia vs demonism is the simplest

explanation. I and some others would think demon possesion is the simplest answer.

To come to explanation of schizoprhenia one has to go thruough 8 or more years of education and indoctrination.

to come up up with demon posession one only has to read a few verses in the bible.

So according to Occams razor the simlest answer is demon posession.

In that case, all of you need to read up on Occam's Razor again. You are making loads of assumptions with the demon possession answer that you are NOT making with the other.

1. Demons are real (we know schizophrenia is)

2. There is an invisible, un-verifiable spirit world (we know schizophrenia is real)

3. You can tell the difference between the two (schizophrenia can be diagnosed and treated)

4. That demons CAN posses a person (we know people can have schizophrenia)

5. That this un-testable spirit world can interact with our realm

That's just off the top of my head, I am sure there are others.

so we need to go back to the drawing board with regard to inflation theory to account for the asymmetry and cold spot.. this is why i love science, the more we learn, the more we have to learn.

Note OP# 11361 makes no mention of the expression Big Bang nor does it say, "scientists have said they do know what came before the Big Bang."

Mathematics goes back only as far as the Big Bang, no furher. Make sure your guys understand that. OK, so show me where there is evidence that we know that there was a situation when nothing material existed, even time. You say math only goes so far (as you well should know since you posted an equation and proceeded to make incorrect statements about it, so perhaps should include the addendum that you have a limited understanding of math as well) and correctly so. So how do we (who is "we" in this sentence?) know something before math, before physics as we understand it, before observational evidence exists? If you make a claim, it is on you to prove it. Make sure you understand that. Hope this clears things up. My apology if some wording led to this confusion. It does indeed. You have a made a claim with no proof and when asked, refused to provide any, provided wrong information and are now making conflicting statements and backtracking on what you sais.
