This email is just simple black propaganda. It's just a way to spread info to active JWs about the Candace Conti case, the pedophile list etc.
Somebody has some (not super secret) email addresses and is trying to get the word out and that's it, imo.

What have you learn about life?

That is just the universe testing you to see if you are really serious. Don't let anything stop you.Never, never, give up. No matter what, just keep doing the next step right in front of you that needs to be done to do what you want to do. Pretty soon, the universe will say 'ok, you're serious.' and obstacles the size of mountains will move out of your way like magic..
Most things are out of your control. Only YOU are in your control.
When you are in the middle of a storm, a crisis, it WILL pass. Let go of trying to control what can't be controlled or is not your job to control. stop fighting the current, float on the current and breathe your way through it, one moment at a time....the same way to get through child birth, btw.
Do what you love and never work a day in your life!
Forgive yourself. Forgive others.
And....you will feel a lot better and lose weight without trying if you give up refined sugar and white four.

You sure about that? I'll admit I've done very little research on this.
ok then.
This is a woman who indentified herself as a man. For years. Then after a change to her meds she was taking for Bipolar disorder she stopped identifying as a male and is now both biologically and mentally female.
Um, no, that is not what the post says.

"Amish - Out of Order"...Have you watched this show???
by freshstart init comes on the national geographic channel and it's about young people who choose to leave the amish faith/way of life, the backlash from their families, and their adjustment to the "outside" world.
it's fascinating for me to watch.
some of the experiences are unique to amish, but so much of it is similar to what people feel when they decide they no longer want to be witnesses.

I LOVE that show. Those kids are like 'my people.' It is so validating to see those stories told to the world.
My JW dad came to stay with me for 3 weeks this last month. We often watched TV in the evenings when he was here. But one eveing I put on "Amish - Out of Order" and he never would come over to the couch to watch. I was REALLY looking forward to watching it with him! But he just stayed over on the computer playing 'angry birds,' lol! At one point My dad told my son, "I HATE that Amish guy's (Mose) accent. I just can't stand it. I can't even watch that show because of that accent."
Later, he told me he had watched that show before, but that the show didn't tell the whole story. He said the show made it sound like Mose has it all figured out, 'but really, that guy doesn't have any more truth than anyone else does.'
I wanted to say so much...like "That's kinda the point of the whole show, Dad..." but I just zipped my lip.

Lore, there's lots of info out there about this. Look into it. There some very good documentaries on youtube on the subject of transgender and transgender children. There is no way to make a person who identifies with one gender switch to the other gender.
The only 'fix' for gender identity disorder is to let the person be who they ARE.

The only 'treatment' for gender identity disorder is the person transitioning to living as the gender they feel they are.
Gender is a social construct, whereas sex is physical.
There is a lot of evidence that gender is at least partly biological as well as a social construct.

Research has been done on the shape of the corpus callosum in those with gender identity disorder. Researchers were able to demonstrate that the shape dimorphism of the corpus callosum at birth in biological males who self-identified as female was actually reversed, and that the same held true for biological females who self-identified as male. What is the point of distributing invitations to the convention to the general public if you need a badge not be viewed suspiciously at the convention site, and only baptised Witnesses get given them?
DO they distribute invitations to the general public anymore?
I noticed that on the Santa Clara Convention Center's site and the JW Convention is listed as "CV" ("convention- Associated Members Only") not "PS" (public invited)
