Looking for Old story about the New Order
by itsibitsybrainbutbigenoughtosmellarat inthere was a story written by someone ( i think a man) about what life in "the new order" would be like maybe 20-50 years ago.
it talked about horrible things...like squads looking for sinners and elders talking about waiting for people to just kill each other and they wouldn't have to worry about them then...does anyone know the title of it???
who wrote it?.

**Daniel 5:25 NWT-Cross Reference Why Half Shekel? Not half mene?**
by itsibitsybrainbutbigenoughtosmellarat inthis is a real teaser!.
many bible commentators as well as wtb&ts suggest daniel interpretation indicating a half shekel would be in keeping with many other instances of the usage of the half shekel throughout the bible and was what daniel refered to.
however some early bible students and writers feel there was another meaning to the mene, mene, tekel , parsin.. no fair polling the internet looking for explanantions.
