I know for a fact that one of the GB members has a great respect for the Mormons. He even praised them during an pioneer meeting back in the 70's. I think that he is contaminated with the Mormon virus.

I met two Mormons today
by Quarterback inwhile going on my walk this morning, i saw two female members of the mormon faith coming towards me.
as they got closer they initiated the conversation.. i stopped getting into arguments a long time ago with people about beleifs, so we just had a friendly chat, in the end of our conversation, they gave me a card.

It was an invitation to visit the Mormon Website.
This seemed all to familiar to me.

All appointed men are being told they have to pioneer now!
by stuckinarut2 inyes, you read correctly..... all appointed men have been told in a new letter that they have to pioneer to "set the lead" whenever there is a "special" campaign month.
they use some scripture saying that these ones have to show by example.... so for any of us who are appointed and have learned ttatt, it is going to be very hard to fade during this time!.

I don't know how the pioneer sisters look like in your congregation, CBG, but in mine, they look like bag ladies on Crack.

The Awake and WT for FS will now decrease in size, and the Field Service slip will be discontinued. The new format in recording your time will consist in completing a survey on JW.Org. They will award a prize once a month to a lucky recipient. The prize, the winner can A/pioneer during a month that is not a campaign.

Well, if they started deleting all the MS's, and Elder's, who is going to be left doing the Cong Accounts to send in the monthly amounts to the Society?

I remember this sister's comment she made about her Deceased Elder husband. A sister told her to not worry, she will see her resurrected husband in the New System. She replied, "I don't care. I don't have to marry him again".
He was real pain to deal with.

Well here is the Bible's response. 1 Cor, 7:12 But to the others I say, yes, I, not the Lord: If any brother has an unbelieving wife and she is agreeable to staying with him, let him not leave her; 13 and if a woman has an unbelieving husband and he is agreeable to staying with her, let her not leave her husband. 14 For the unbelieving husband is sanctifiedin relation to his wife, andthe unbelieving wife is sanctified in relation to the brother; otherwise, your children would be unclean, but now they are holy So having an unbeleiving mate allows that one a free ticket to the new world.

Letter Read At Special Talk
by scotoma inthe watchtower arranged to have a letter read announcing that elders would now be apponted by circuit overseers.. any elders on this forum know how this will be different from the current arrangement for appointing elders.. it would be nice to see a schematic with boxes showing how it used to be and how it will be in the future..

Currently the whole BOE had to be unanimous to suggest a Elder/MS recommendation to the CO during his visit. They. CO and BOE would meet and discuss and if they were in agreement they sent the recommendation to the Branch office Service Committee. The Branch office received that request and opened that drawer where that stamp is stored. The mail clerk stamped the page, and sent the stamped, APPROVED, copy back to the congregation.
Now, if there is someone on the BOE that doesn't like someone, he can't forever hold anyone back. It's now a One Pony show. You only need to convince one guy.
