  iv just read a report that the police in uk are investigating this subject,cos of complaints from ex wits in portsmoth, i read in the daily mail it came up on a search i was doing and its dated today.i was gona past it but it said the site could look at other stuff id pasted resently so i was unsure.. .

  i found it when i tiped in jehovahs witnesses it was half way down the page,iv just tryed looking straight on the telegrapgh page but i cant find it there i just found it wen i was doing a search.

  it said 18th of october on it owel i duno then it just said some people from prtsmoth had complained to police about the magacine from july about calling people mentaly deseased and the police were investigating it so duno i found it by accident id paste it but when it said the site can look at my clip bourd thingy it put me off.

  IV JUST READ A REPORT THAT THE POLICE IN UK ARE INVESTIGATING THIS SUBJECT,COS OF COMPLAINTS FROM EX WITS IN PORTSMOTH, I READ IN THE DAILY MAIL IT CAME UP ON A SEARCH I WAS DOING AND ITS DATED TODAY.I WAS GONA PAST IT BUT IT SAID THE SITE COULD LOOK AT OTHER STUFF ID PASTED RESENTLY SO I WAS UNSURE.

  i had heard about the mormons, but i had not been the least interested in them.

  in that 5 month time period from when i prayed to god up until the day i got saved, no mormons or jehovah's witnesses came knocking on my door and they would always come to my house on saturdays.

  my life wasnt going very well either and i sat down and prayed and with in a few weeks not same day i was in a relationship with a jws son and it just went from there,i was going catholic church at the time, which coincidently id prayed a few years befor and ended up there so masybe praying to god does get an answer and aslong as u folow the faith path and ur life changes for the better and u learn about him and what ever it dont matter wich religion brought it to you,i duno,

  JWs came to my door asking for deaf people

  two ladies came to my door asking for deaf people.

  it was a wham-bam-thank-ya man type of approach, they seemed eager to get to the next door.. all i gathered from their presentation, if i were just a normal householder, was that they were from some sort of religious group (they did not give their name) and that they wanted me to freely give out names and phone numbers of the deaf friends i know.

  i said i didn't know any deaf people and they were on their way.. i knew exactly what was happening, but for most people it would just be an odd break in their daily routine.

  and as for all diff religions missionarys and all yep all religions preach what they beleive to be true to help the person they are preaching to ,they arnt doing it vindictivly to gain money or what ever,so every one on here whos gone out on the min were thinkink nastyly and saying im gona hook some one today get em in the culd ha ha ha ,you all full of crap,the jws do what they think they need to do and some eventualy look deep and cos they spiritualy true to god most leave for that reason but the true ones arnt vindictive towards there sis and bros even if they ar to them,becouse they know the truth and are sad for thoes being led by men and not god, most on here were once jws going out on the min, so who were you looking for were u looking for people who wanted a life change who wanted god in ther lifes and needed to learn about him or were you going out with intent to capture a poor old soul for there money to be given to watch tower when they die ha ha ha or to capture a family so it ups the numbers or what ever else, no you were doing it cos you felt they needed your help to find the truth which you also thought you had,im not goint to knock anyone who thinks they are doing the right thing no matter what religion they are cos they actualy think they are doing the right thing by preaching the good news, to deaf to all kinds to all walks of life,and if a wit asked me if i new were a deff person lived id say yes but befor i tell you il just ask them if its ok to give there adress to you first,then its up to that deff person if they want to listen then isnt it,jws arnt bad they are just blind to real truths,id go back if theyd stop judging and id go back if they stoped shunning, you lot judge to much also the people u once were yourselfs in the past i dont care anymore cos i know they are mostly kind people who thinkn they are doing what they are suposed to like i once did,

  my husband comes from a deff family in america and he went to deaf meetings and most were deaf not just a few all exept a few,theres loads of deaf congs,and they know diff from anyother jw just cant hear thats it,so waht if they are only looking for deff people at the doors they are looking for anyone thats willing to listen,theres loads of deff jws in america i dont know about uk,and if they deff or hard of hearing they would ask at door if anyone else was also makes it easyer for em to talk if thers some one same,

  Stupid rules

  there was no end to the amount of stupid rules put in place.

  one that always bugged me was "no shirts with slogans when doing kh yard work or at jw gatherings.

  id always get talked to about it when i'd wear shirts with a band on it or whatnot.

  no beards no long hair for men why not god gave em the hair to grow,must wear dresses skirts grr hated it ,got told off once for wearing a top that was vneck line and was a bit low im flat chested i dint think it matterd lol,had to keep kids quiet at all times and couldnt take em in libry or in back room,so it was either beat the crap out off them in toilets and befor i got there just to warn em all to keep quiet not move a muscle or just dont go at all i chose not to go to much stress i got 8 kids,cant gamble or do sport but bro simon wa having gamleing at his house every weekend, playing poker and football games, i had to wear long sleeves as i had a tattoo on my arm,being bugged for reports kids not alowed to touch curtains or walk about on there own together not alowed to bring prams in to assembly hall or pushchairs so had to hold babys on my knees at assembllys and cope wi 6 other kids, the rules r endless stupid hard work

  yer my son is self employed and is a salesman and becouse of the door to door experiences he had growing up hes come on leaps and bounds in his company hes with and is now gona be assistent manager becouse hes so good at goin door to door and talking with people and dosnt take no for an answer at the doors lol
