It's been a while since I've been to this thread. But, I thought they were divorcing. This was confirmed by Lloyd, and others, I thought.
And I thought, being free of any marriage pretense, Lloydster was out-of-the-closet and back to sex workers.

how does it look like for a jw, is it always in groups?
is kissing allowed?.

Wait. What? You didn't have to do this?

There are complicated rituals the couple goes through in order to transition from "dating" to "courting". The transition is called "kerbuckle" formally, and it can sometimes be used as a verb. To 'kerbuckle' requires the father of the female and potential male mate to shave their arm pits together while singing "My heart will go on" by Dion. The females gather around the males during this time and yodel loudly. When the hair has been shaved and a harmony is struck between the singing and yodeling, all parties yell 'KERBUCKLE!' and run away from each other as fast as possible in every direction. A few days later when they see each other again, the courtship will have officially started.
another shooting, this time 14 kids dead more wounded and a teacher dead.
i am all for the second amendment and this does not change my mind.
but i do hate this kind of thing, makes my stomach turn.
@Simon: It's amazing. My position has always been that there should be armed individuals, preferably conceal carry, some in uniform, some not.
But if the security isn't ready to make the hard choice and shoot the shooter in the face, then what good are they?
i saw a statistic the other day that something like 25% of all the debt that the us has incurred since 1776 was created in the last 12 months.
that's because they have printed so much currency and instead of letting that stop them, they are going to continue printing more to go on a spending spree on crazy green-new-deal schemes and union handouts.. does anyone think that this can be anything other than inflationary?
they are effectively stealing the wealth of everyone to then hand money out to people.

9.1 % using the skewed measure.
It's really about 20%
i know there was a leak a few weeks back, but this really does seem to have come out of the blue.. the anomaly was the original decision.
it clearly had no basis in law or the constitution, and was a flimsy, ridiculous ruling.
plus the whole thing was based on a fraudulent case in the first place.. https://www.bbc.com/news/world-us-canada-61928898.
Would Harris make a distinction between "killing" and "dying"?

By my quoting the writing of Sam Harris, what I was trying to point out is that, maybe, just maybe a miscarriage is nature's way of ending...terminating...aborting...a pregnancy? Could be, could be.
I honesty don't understand this argument. Given the above, can you put a conclusion on it? Therefore........ what?

A fair amount of the insight we may mistakingly atteibute to intelligence, is probably actually due to seeing real life consequences for actions.
That's why I was so amused by the #SexStrike movement. Basically, "Oh yeah?! Well if you aren't going to give me an easy way out, I'll just have to behave sensibly! I'm deleting all my hookup apps right now! How do like that, men?!"
