What The Hell...my JW ex-wife just knocked on my door in field service...

so get this...this is one strange occurrence that almost ended in awkward disaster.

so i took the week off from work to do some home reno projects.

this morning i was doing some yard work and just finished mowing the front yard.

i just wish my born-in dub ex wife could knock on my door--with me in the buff. i'd invite her in--to remind her what she threw away in her hissy fit.

you can always spot them by the 'less than 1/2 miles per hour' they stroll down the street.

i soo agree about the pioneer stroll----and loitering on doorsteps when there was no one home.

oh--and i last went on " field service " ( barf )----in 1971

Coping whilst stuck in the org.

i recently learned ttatt and it really sickens me when i sit through the meetings.

i am so tired of faking things.

i feel like vomiting when annoying things are said from the platform.

going back a lifetime---in the kH i attended was a bruv---not the sharpest tool---who often laughed out loud at things said from the platform. whenever i gave talks--i would look at him--and say something that would set him off--it was uncontrollable--and infectious. soon others would start too.

so--laugh out loud at something that seems amusing--overdo it--see what ensues.

go for it----pick a word or phrase that hits the spot--then really try to honk up. run out to the washroom holding your mouth---make a loud gagging noise when you get there.

then--repeat each time you hear the same words. you will soon get--noticed. who knows--you might get " invited" NOT to attend meetings any more

Watchtower sitting on potential goldmine of millions of non-JW memorial attenders

last year's "letter from the governing body" (on jw.org) notes:.

"last year, the memorial attendance was 19,241,252. how encouraging to see so many honor jehovah and jesus christ by attending the most important meeting of the year for gods people!".

that's about 12 million or so non-jw's who go to the memorial only, a good % of whom are evidently at least somewhat sympathetic or curious about the jw's, but for various reasons have no desire to commit to the religion.. .

It's really very simple: For the most part, JW congregations are made up of life's losers, eccentrics, and essentially simple-minded souls. Why would anyone who is a 'winner' at the game of life even want to be associated with such a down-at-the-heels fringe group??? Not to mention the fact that their beliefs are sheer lunacy and the result of intense brainwashing. The only non-JWs who attend the Memorial are either unbelieving mates or family members who go to humor their deluded relatives. Add in a few genuine freaks and oddballs and there you have it. It's not rocket-science, folks!

so spot on Navytown......thats why so many stay in the cult----frightened of the real world outside.
