  hi, a link on another thread made me wonder if anyone here has written any poetry about dubdom.

  I Hate Downunder!

  i hate downunder because when i post a thread at 10.10pm - nobody else is up to respond & i get bored & go to bed & by the time i log on tomorrow - my thread will have been forgotten ...

  Did every congregation have one or two desperate singletons?

  i remember in the kh i went to there was always at least one desperate singleton who would sniff around the single women particularly the ones which were his own age...he was mid 40s i seem to believe...never had a girlfriend and would have married anybody who wouldve had him.

  there was no real harm in him...just lonely i expect but i think he made most women skwirm.. what about you...did your hall have its own resident 'single sister stalker'?

  I think I was it, except I'm a girl!

  Seriously, I had so many great single female friends who will probably never marry (or have any sort of relationship) because of the strict guidelines. It's terrible. Not much excuse for single guys, though.

  Relationships and age difference

  people say that love is blind to age difference but when you have/had to strike a relationship or marry with someone what's the maximum age difference that is/was acceptable to you?

  My hubby is a year older than me, which means we are always definitely on each other's wavelength re pop culture, which is good ... I always thought I'd end up with an older man (mature, etc) but then I look at my hubby's fit bod & am glad I ended up with a young'un.
