  when i finally made up mind to fade in i thought it would be easy.

  brilliant actually i wrote an elder a letter and said i wouldn't be at the meetings for a while.

  When I finally made up mind to fade in I thought it would be easy. So what did I do? Brilliant actually I wrote an Elder a letter and said I wouldn't be at the meetings for a while. Genius if you ask me. Needless to say it was a flop. I knew I would have the dodge them forever knowing they would try anything to find dirt on me and DF me. So I then decided I had to cut it clean and wrote my DA letter...

  How Long Did It Actually Take You To Leave The Organization?

  i started reading "apostate" books when i was a teen at the library.

  it was more curiousity than anything else.

  at home, i used to read all the old publications and i'd notice how beliefs had changed.. with ray franz's books that i read clandestinely, i started to realize the truth about "the truth".

  6 years. I would sit at the meetings bored to death at the same dribble year after year. My mind would wonder and I began thinking about the concept of the Bible itself. So much just didn't make sense. Then with all the doctrine changes and rank hypocrity in the congo it took about 6 years total to finally DA myself...

  Ex-Elders please advice on my first Public Talk as a MS.

  the topic is- "young people: serve jehovah wholeheartedly".. i'd appreciate various points that would make this talk appealing to my cong.

  youths, but please keep it within jw boundaries because i don't want to give my elders any hint of me being an apostate yet.. i have to say that i am still enjoying my newly given "priviledges'', and am still so surprised that holy spirit has'nt pointed me out yet.. agbm.

  i was out riding my motorcycle today and passed my old kingdom hall only 2 miles away.

  it was just before the sunday meeting and they were walking into the kh.

  being da'd for 6 years it has been that long since i've seen any of them.

  I was out riding my motorcycle today and passed my old Kingdom Hall only 2 miles away. It was just before the sunday meeting and they were walking into the KH. Being DA'd for 6 years it has been that long since I've seen any of them. As they were walking in I spotted half a dozen familar faces...JW for 28 years 6 years out seeing them it just seemed like a dream...a bad dream...

  My last JW congo I was in for 6 years in all that time half the congo didn't even know my name...so I guess I would say no...
