NVL: At least you admitted a failure. We will take note.
There's aren't the droids you are looking for. Move along.
i tried, i thought i could make it work, it seemed so easy, but alas, in my project to turn a used $3 cigar box into a functional humidor i failed miserably.
i never could make the box airtight enough and allow enough air to circulate through to keep the cigars moist enough with a passive humidifier.
the humidity kept falling too low, i kept have to try to seal more edges of the box and eventually i started losing cigars.. i broke down today and bought a $40 humidor and in the space of just a few hours it is already keeping the cigars more moist and humid.. i failed.

Feel free to fedex me a cuban. and i'm with you except for the candles. I prefer to save those for a nice exfoliating bubble bath along with some yanni and a wine spritzer.
not according to c.t russell.
in the september 15, 1910 wt he made these shocking claims regarding the 6 scripture studies that he wrote:.
"that is to say, they are not merely comments on the bible, but they are practically the bible itself...".
Stuff and nonsense. Speculation with a healthy dose of wishful thinking. Balderdash, poppycock and silliness. Move along, folks, nothing new to see here.
i was trying to figure out the answer to this question when i came across my notes of a talk by the do in the 09 circuit convention.
he said the world defined "spirituality" however it would suit them; according to their own religion.
he gave example definitions of spirituality (being in touch with nature, spiritism, going to church and reading the bible, etc.
Well people wouldn't do if it made them feel bad.

It makes you feel good.
if you were even born into a religion, would you feel that you had to get out?
( the only religion that i know of where people get out and often never go to any other religion is the jw religion)..

So jealous...
sometimes in many conversations or debates, some people try to end it by saying "i agree to disagree".
if you have an inquisitive mind and critical thinking, are you comfortable disagreeing about factual information?
i am not referring to opinion.
I then proceeded to purchase lots of BofA shares at $4.00. In eight months the price went to $18.00 and I sold.
You got rooked! It actually dropped to $2.16 at one point, i think.
But still, 450% return isn't bad.
satan and nvl recommended that i start this thread.
i'm not sure anyone will have interest.
but one of the things that proves to me that the bible is accurate is the prophecies that were written before the fullfillment, in detal.
Possible, Leolia. Personally, I think it was a combination of all three plus historical comments he saw in other threads.

Honestly, I think that Dan was, and perhaps still is, completely convinced, that the Daniel example was overflowing with evidence proving the prophecies and thus Jesus, etc., etc. He didn't pick that out of the blue, but because, despite it's complexity, he felt it was ironclad.
The evidence against mounted and mounted and even his own ideas about "proof" (such as the Maccabees example) turned out to prove nothing and in fact, provide the opposite of what he thought they did.
This is not gloating, it's sadness that Dan was so invested in an idea that he left over it. I would rather have him here that not.
