"Brooklyn can now claim that through the internet they are preaching the good news of God's Kingdom throughout the World they don't need people going from door to door en mass in order to reach people they can operate in any country they like thanks to the Web they can hook people effectively through the written and spoken word on line."
that would end up losing a lot of control over the publishers don't you think?
would they still need a service meeting?

"These are areas addressed in the court case that was settled recently. Not ordained as ministers of the Watchtower, ordination to preach good
news for their God ... Organization does not arrange mandatory meetings to train in ministry ... meetings for field service are not mandated by the
Organization .... the Organization does not insist that records of ministry are submitted .... they said these things to a court, now they have to make
them true."
so will they change the baptism questions too?

@blondie
it's anybody's guess and it might be all speculation
the only thing I know is that the WTS needs to cover their a$$ because of potential liability and the facts point to the fact that their empire is in
decline.

It sounds like you are in a tough spot my friend. I feel for you.
It is almost imossible to fight against an organization like this. As soon as there is a "perceived spiritual danger" the org rallies their troops to love bomb your wife and kids with positive reinforcement(aka encouragement) seen it happen many times.
The elder arrangement is in place and trained to do this, to separate families if need be for the greater good $$$ of the organization. They would rather have your family in and you out than all of you out.
This may sound odd but have a bible study with your family. A BIBLE study. Not wt book study or anti wt study but read the bible and only the bible together. many have seen ttatt by just reading the bible in context and discovering it's meaning.
When finances are tight, bad decisions are often made. If you are constantly falling behind in your bills eventually it will catch up to you. You should sit down with your wife and a piece of paper and calculator and see if adjustments need to be made or even to go see a financial consultant and get some advice. You cannot go on like you are. something will give.
I hope this helps

Something will change with the preaching work or the way we do it. A well connected family member elder mentioned to me more than once that the
society is losing a LOT of money on the magazines and books. Hence more tract campaigns to save paper. He mentioned also in passing a couple of
weeks ago that the preaching work would be a new focus.
Also at a recent zone visit Anthony Dufus III said that the preaching work would eventually end. "I won't cry when it's over" are his exact words.
I don't know if he meant anything by it or he was just flying by the seat of his pants when he said it

I can't see them introducing tithing. According to a recent WT it is not required
"The Mosaic Law was abolished on the basis of Jesus’ death, so monetary tithing is not a requirement. Yet, tithing has a symbolic meaning. (Ephesians 2:15) It does not represent the giving of our all. While the tenth part was brought year after year, we bring our all to Jehovah only once—when we dedicate ourselves to him and symbolize our dedication by undergoing water baptism. From that time on, everything we have belongs to Jehovah. Still, he allows us to choose a portion of what we have—a symbolic tithe—to use in his service. It is whatever our circumstances allow and our heart impels us to use. The offerings we bring to Jehovah include the time, energy, and resources used in the Kingdom-preaching and disciple-making work. Also included are attending Christian meetings, visiting sick and elderly fellow believers, and rendering financial support to true worship."
from W07 12/15 p28
As for ending field service or making it less demanding that would be a bad move too. That is one of the main ways they make people feel guilty and unworthy, other than meeting attendance.(or lack of) my guess is they will become more controlling demanding and expect more from the elders
