What is very important is a religous belief. Not how people behave, because Satan can [and does] tempt us all, no matter what our faith is. His will is to destroy families, friendships love and the earth.

What are your religous beliefs? Are they true? Are they in keeping with scripture? Are they unchanging? That's what truth is. A faith that does not change.

Michael is God's champion angel. In greek, angelos is translated as messanger. Jesus can speak with an angels voice and be rightfully declaring God's will with out being an angel.

No church father thought that Jesus was an angel...

Let me say that again. No church father ever thought that Jesus was an angel. Every church father [listed in the "should you believe in the trinity" propaganda] asserted that Jesus was God himself, but also fully man. Not even 2% angel. They all have complete writtings available for all to read. Read and then speak with wisdom instead of ignorance.

I've dated a Jew for a few years in my past and my sister married a Jew [and she's a very devout catholic]. When we would celebrate the high holidays with them, they would open the door for Elijah who would usher in and prepare the way for the Lord. They believe that God himself will be their savior. No Jew ever believed that the angel Michael [or any other angel for that matter] is their savior.

I'll say that again. Jews, who are not Christian, believe that God himself is their savior.....and guess what?...They're right.

Still ignoring the blatant mis-translation of 'I have been'? I don't blame you. When you apply the scriptures to those who change/twist/and lie, there really is no answer.

I have a new question for you , or any other JW 'scholar' who defends the NWT as

'The New World Translation was prepared by anointed witnesses of Jehovah, who transmitted his thoughts and declarations as accurately as possible. These men have chosen to remain anonymous, since they did not seek prominence, and God's word should stand on it's own merits. The NWT is an accurate, largely literal translation from the original languages. It is not a loose paraphrase in which th authors add ideas that they believe will be helpful. Reasoning from the scriptures 1985 p276-277.

How many times do I need to repeat it; check ANY Interlinear (there are some online), and you will quickly see the same phrase used that way by Peter and Paul- and they don't put it in caps to mislead churchoids into thinking they are God- using a Symbolic HEBREW Name that was used only ONCE!

Thanks for replying about the translation of ego eimi [which is accurately translated as 'I am']. Is that why the NWT translates ego eimi as 'I have been', because of the capital letters? Yes, that makes so much sense now [or at least as much sense as you do, hahahaha;)].

Everyone knows that Peter, Paul and many others used ego eimi [I am] and did not have them in capitals. Jesus's 'I Am' was in capitals to show that he was claiming to be God. Yes, he declared that himself. That's why his life was in danger right after. He never said,'whoa, I never meant that I was God'. No, quite the opposite, he asserted that he was God......damn, you're dumb....

He still never answered the I AM question. How is it that ego eimi [I am] could possibly be translated as I have been. Every single other translation in the NWT translates ego eimi as [I am] except when the Jews wanted to stone Jesus for blasphemy.

This is the one question that I have asked Plankton that he keeps ignoring. Why Plankton, why?

Think About It

I don't think so as scripture does say that Jesus is God and the Holy Ghost is God and the Father is God so there is no denying scripture when you embrace the Trinity. To deny the Trinity is to deny scripture. I'm sure Designs will chime in how bishops changed the scriptures, but the scriptures say what they say and it would be cult-esh to deny the divinity if Jesus or the Holy Ghost. Jesus claimed to be God when he said 'I AM'. That's why the Jews with him wanted to stone him. Only a brain washed cultist could deny it. He would also deny that 2+2=4 if his cult leaders told him to.

Did any bishops or cardinals change scripture during the early church years?

Good points made by all. So it appears that there is no proof that scriture was tampered with, but obviously, [plenty of] opinion on it.

Something that I'm surprised at is that no one has brought up is that the whole bible [not just the new testament] is all based on an oral tradition. Moses wrote the first 5 books of the old testament generations after Adam and Eve, Noah, Jacob, Abraham, Joseph etc etc. all based on the oral traditions. The apostles write thanks for keeping the traditions that they had handed down so why would anyone believe that it could possibly be the word of God based on such loose guidelines?

I believe it is because there is no other book [ancient or otherwise] which moves people to such a degree. There is a reason that the bible is the most popular book in the world. The reason is because it is the word of God and when ever someone tries to change it, people [who know, who have the Holy Ghost alive in them] shout and make it known that there is a problem. Of course that is my catholic view. No offense to anyones opinion intended.
