Identifying Michael The Arch-Angel!

Many today, do not believe that Michael the Archangel and the Christ are one and the same person. Of course, that is understandable, because it never directly states in the Bible, that they are. Conversely, it never directly states that they are not either. So, we are left with using the evidence supplied in the Holy Writings to prove whether they are, or, whether they are not. It's really not what others believe, or feel they have proven to themselves, about any scriptural matter. Each individual, is to prove to themselves alone, about the truth of any matter. No one can prove to anyone else, anything about the Bible. Each individual is under obligation to prove it first, to themselves alone, and then, as opportunity presents itself, pass that knowledge on to others. Whether they believe it or not, is their exclusive right, as long as you have tried to fulfill your obligations. Nothing more can be asked of them, or you.

We might now look at what the Apostle Paul has to say about this matter. That will aid us greatly:

2 "Do not be conformed to this world (this age), [fashioned after and adapted to its external, superficial customs], but be transformed (changed) by the [entire] renewal of your mind [by its new ideals and its new attitude], so that you may prove [FOR YOURSELVE] what is the good and acceptable and perfect will of God, even the thing which is good and acceptable and perfect [in His sight FOR YOU]." {Romans 12:2 AB}

With Paul's Words in mind, I'll now proceed to prove to myself, whether Jesus and Michael are the same person, or not. Gathering of course the scriptural information supplied to do that proving.

I feel it's only fair to keep in mind, that before Jesus arrived on this earth, he himself was one of God's glorious Angels. He actually told us that himself, at John 17:5 where he made this prayer to his Father:

5 "And now, Father, glorify Me along with Yourself and restore Me to such majesty and honor in Your presence as I had with You before the world existed." {John 17:5 AB}

23 "You are from below," He told them, "I am from above. You are of this world; I am not of this world." {John 8:23 HCSB}

62 "Then what if you were to observe the Son of Man ascending to where He was fore?" {John 6:62 HCSB}

No one can argue the position Jesus held before he came to this earth. That is well substantiated by scripture, and by Jesus own words. He was quite definitely an Angel. As such, he would have had to have a name, to identify him as such. Just as the Angel Gabriel had a name. {Luke 1:19} Now, we must learn if we can in some way connect both Jesus and Michael together, that will show they are one and the same person.

After the ascension of Jesus, it would have been true what he had stated just prior to his ascension, in Matthew 28:18, worded thusly:

18 "Then Jesus came near and said to them, "All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth."{Mattghew 28:18 HCSB} This all authority gets even better:

6 "When He again brings His firstborn into the world, He says, And all God's angels must worship Him." {Hebrews 1:6 HCSB}

22 "Now that He has gone into heaven, He is at God's right hand, with angels, authorities, and powers subjected to Him." {1 Peter 3:22 HCSB} Excuse the expression, but who do you believe is the head Honcho in the Spirit realm now? God's right - hand Man, correct? Does this authority extend of Jesus extend any further?:

9 "Therefore God exalted him to the highest place and gave him the name that is above every name, 10 that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow,
in heaven and on earth and under the earth, 11and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord,
to the glory of God the Father." {Philippians 2: 9-11 NIV}

To get any higher than Jesus is now, you would have to be Jehovah God, himself! No way is any, higher than he is!

So, who would hold power over every Angel in the Spirit Realm? Who would hold the Authority to judge any of them were that to become necessary, and, of course, it does:

22 "Moreover, the Father judges no one, but has entrusted all judgment to the Son, 23 that all may honor the Son just as they honor the Father. Whoever does not honor the Son does not honor the Father, who sent him."{John 5:22,23 NIV}

So, the Son holds that Authority, correct? All Judgment commited to him as it is? Who was the one foretold to deliver a fatal head-wound to satan the devil, who would hate one another:?

15 "I will put hostility between you and the woman,
and between your seed and her seed.
He will strike your head,and you will strike his heel." {Genesis 3:15 HCSB} Who was the seed of the Woman? The one delivering this fatal head-wound? Paul will answer that for us:

16 "Now the promises were spoken to Abraham and to his seed. He does not say "and to seeds," as though referring to many, but and to your seed, referring to one, who is Christ." {Galatians 3:16 HCSB}

So, this one with All Authority; with power of judging, would be the one to deliver satan this fatal head-wound; but, just prior to that though, he would oust him from the Heavenly Spirit Realm, in a War he is assigned to fight, as we might expect him to, since he holds All Authority,and possesses the power to Judge. John explains his power and position of a righteous Judge in the following words:

11 "Then I saw heaven opened, and there was a white horse! Its rideris called Faithful and True, and in righteousness He judges and makes war." {Revelation 19:11 HCSB}

This Faithful and true Rider is none other than the Christ, as John will show next:

4 "John to the seven churches that are in Asia: Grace to you and peace, from him who is and who was and who is to come; and from the seven Spirits that are before his throne;

5 and from Jesus Christ, who is the faithful witness, the firstborn of the dead, and the ruler of the kings of the earth. Unto him that loveth us, and loosed us from our sins by his blood;

6 and he made us to be a kingdom, to be priests unto his God and Father; to him be the glory and the dominion for ever and ever. Amen."{Revelation 1:4-6 ASV}

That tells us all that it is Jesus who fights this righteous War, because it is Jesus who is the faithful and true witness judging and making War. Where does this righteous War begin? Where we might expect at this time. At what time? John once again will explain that, but don't be hasty while reading this passage through for it reveals a great deal:

7"And there was war in heaven. Michael and his angels fought against the dragon, and the dragon and his angels fought back. 8 But he was not strong enough, and they lost their place in heaven. 9The great dragon was hurled down—that ancient serpent called the devil, or Satan, who leads the whole world astray. He was hurled to the earth, and his angels with him.

10Then I heard a loud voice in heaven say:
"Now have come the salvation and the power and the kingdom of our God,
and the authority of his Christ. For the accuser of our brothers,
who accuses them before our God day and night,
has been hurled down.
11They overcame him
by the blood of the Lamb
and by the word of their testimony;
they did not love their lives so much
as to shrink from death.
12Therefore rejoice, you heavens
and you who dwell in them!
But woe to the earth and the sea,
because the devil has gone down to you!
He is filled with fury,
because he knows that his time is short."

13 When the dragon saw that he had been hurled to the earth, he pursued the woman who had given birth to the male child." {Revelation 12:7-13 NIV}

Did you notice? This War takes place at the same time God's Kingdom is Born. His Heavenly Woman has at last bore the Male Child. Borne out in verse 13- Then it tells us the Christ has now exercised his Authority, and thrown satan and his pals down to earth. Verse 10-

Then it's woe for the earth and for the sea, because the devil has come down to you having great anger. Producing the greatest Tribulation this World has ever seen or will see again. So bad it would have to be cut short by massive divine intervention. Daniel foretold this time period; for look at what he predicted:

1"At that time shall arise Michael, the great prince who has charge of your people. And there shall be a time of trouble, such as never has been since there was a nation till that time. But at that time your people shall be delivered, everyone whose name shall be found written in the book." {Daniel 12:1 ESV}

Prior to making this statement Daniel had observed the destruction of the last ruling World Power to be on this earth, and he saw it destroyed completely. The only other Ruling Aurthority that was to come was God's Kingdom, and he saw Michael standing up taking that Ruling Athority. Michael could not have been anyone else but Christ Jesus, because Jesus was the foretold reigning King of God's Kingdom.

Strong's Dictionary throws a lttle light on this subject, about Michael Standing Up. That is if any more proof is needed!

Has the War in Heaven been fought yet?

Those of us who sat in those Kingdom Hall Seats , and listened very closely to what we were being taught, or at least we thought, we were listening, heard that Michael and his Angels fought with the devil and his Angels, and, of course the devil lost the battle and was thrown down to this earth, and when he was, Woe for the earth and for the Sea began, with Nation against Nation and Kingdom against Kingdom, and we just simply ate that up. Because now, at our end of the spectrum we could read the pages of History about those two World Wars, and reading about the number of casualties, who could argue that satan wasn't thrown down in the year 1914? Afterall 100 Million People killed is no small amount, and would certainly constitute Woe for the earth and for the Sea. So, we were convinced of their interpretation of the scripture in Revelation 12:7-9,12 which they zeroed in on to convince us. It's an easy matter though, to quote scripture out of context to convince someone of the truth of any scriptural matter, while failing to take in what the entire context of that scripture is really saying, if taken into consideration changes completely, what they are actually teaching you, and when done so, their teaching becomes a lie, and you are being misled, without even being aware of it. All because, it LOOKS LIKE THE TRUTH! Sometimes, as in this instance, Looks can be very deceiving. Why do I say that?

Let me put it this way! Was I to say to you, that the War in heaven had not been fought in 1914, that satan and his demons were not thrown down in that year, that the trouble that began in that year was not the result of satan being thrown down, was not the Woe for the earth and for the Sea predicted in Johns Revelation, as a result of his being thrown down. How would all of that strike you, after being thoroughly convinced that he was thrown down in that year? Ask yourself a question now, in all seriousness. Have you ever personally sat down and read that scripture about satan being thrown down IN CONTEXT? What do you think will happen when you do that, if you do that? Do you think it's possible you might just change your mind, and admit, you've been sold a Bill of goods? You've been led down the Garden Path, as it were? Or do you believe that it is impossible to mislead you, perhaps?

As a teacher, it would be an easy matter to focus attention on the following two scriptures, to prove a point I was trying to make to someone less experienced than myself; which is what the Governing Body does, has done, will probably continue to do. They couldn't change oars in midst stream now, it would destroy them to do so, and they would know that. Okay! Let me convince you with the following two verses:

7 "Then there was war in heaven. Michael and his angels fought against the dragon and his angels. 8 And the dragon lost the battle, and he and his angels were forced out of heaven. 9 This great dragon—the ancient serpent called the devil, or Satan, the one deceiving the whole world—was thrown down to the earth with all his angels.

12 "Therefore, rejoice, O heavens!
And you who live in the heavens, rejoice!
But terror will come on the earth and the sea,
for the devil has come down to you in great anger,
knowing that he has little time."{Revelation 12:12 NLT}

Okay! Someone with little scriptural training, would gobble that up, as so many have already. It's clear! It says it straight out. satan is down with great anger. It says, Terror will come on earth. Has actually come! Now! The question is: "Is he really? I say NO! He isn't! I can by reading this scripture IN CONTEXT prove that, that, War has not been fought as yet! The devil has not been thrown down! The Woe associated with his presence on earth has not even begun as yet. Now my for my proof:

7 "Then there was war in heaven. Michael and his angels fought against the dragon and his angels. 8 And the dragon lost the battle, and he and his angels were forced out of heaven. 9 This great dragon—the ancient serpent called the devil, or Satan, the one deceiving the whole world—was thrown down to the earth with all his angels.

10 Then I heard a loud voice shouting across the heavens,

"It has come at last—
salvation and power
and the Kingdom of our God,
and the authority of his Christ.

For the accuser of our brothers and sisters
has been thrown down to earth—the one who accuses them
before our God day and night.
11 And they have defeated him by the blood of the Lamb
and by their testimony.
And they did not love their lives so much
that they were afraid to die.
12 Therefore, rejoice, O heavens!
And you who live in the heavens, rejoice!
But terror will come on the earth and the sea,for the devil has come down to you in great anger,
knowing that he has little time."

13 When the dragon realized that he had been thrown down to the earth, he pursued the woman who had given birth to the male child." {Revelation 12:7-13 NLT}

It might pay to look at, the signifcant event, that marked 1914, as the beginning of birth pangs of the Kingdom, as mentioned by Jesus:

8 "But all this is only the first of the birth pains, with more to come."{Matthew 24:8 NLT} John now deals with this major event:

1 "Then I witnessed in heaven an event of great significance. I saw a woman clothed with the sun, with the moon beneath her feet, and a crown of twelve stars on her head. 2 She was pregnant, and she cried out because of her labor pains and the agony of giving birth." {Revelation 12:1,2 NLT}

Ever since 1914 Jehovah's Heavenly Woman has been going through these birth pangs, or labor pains. It has been a long prolonged period of grief and mourning for this earth, but will end when this Heavenly Woman finally gives birth. Notice verse 13 we are told she has finally given Birth. The Kingdom reigns! Verse 10 tells us it has come at last. The Christ is given authority! Michael throws satan to this earth. Then terror will come on the earth and on the Sea. These are the last days for this World. "Woe for the earth and for the sea because the devil has come down to you having great anger." Did we pick up on this information? That War in heaven will not be fought until the Christ atually takes Kingdom Power. It will be when that does occur, satan will be thrown down to this earth; and Woe for this earth will begin. Matthew 24:7 will see fulfillment at that time, and Nation will rise against Nation, and Kingdom against Kingdom, and Jeremiah's Prophecy concerning the end will occur, as well as Ezekiels, and all Particular Hell will break out all over this Planet; cut short by massive divine intervention. Beginning with the Words of Jerermiah, and in harmony with Matthew 24:7 we read:

32 "This is what the LORD Almighty says: "Look! Disaster is spreading from nation to nation; a mighty storm is rising from the ends of the earth."33 At that time those slain by the LORD will be everywhere—from one end of the earth to the other. They will not be mourned or gathered up or buried, but will be like refuse lying on the ground."{Jeremiah 25:32,33 NIV} Now Ezekiels words on this:

14 "Therefore, son of man, prophesy and say to Gog: 'This is what the Sovereign LORD says: In that day, when my people Israel are living in safety, will you not take notice of it? 15 You will come from your place in the far north, you and many nations with you, all of them riding on horses, a great horde, a mighty army. 16 You will advance against my people Israel like a cloud that covers the land. In days to come, O Gog, I will bring you against my land, so that the nations may know me when I show myself holy through you before their eyes.

17 " 'This is what the Sovereign LORD says: Are you not the one I spoke of in former days by my servants the prophets of Israel? At that time they prophesied for years that I would bring you against them. 18 This is what will happen in that day: When Gog attacks the land of Israel, my hot anger will be aroused, declares the Sovereign LORD. 19 In my zeal and fiery wrath I declare that at that time there shall be a great earthquake in the land of Israel. 20 The fish of the sea, the birds of the air, the beasts of the field, every creature that moves along the ground, and all the people on the face of the earth will tremble at my presence. The mountains will be overturned, the cliffs will crumble and every wall will fall to the ground. 21 I will summon a sword against Gog on all my mountains, declares the Sovereign LORD. Every man's sword will be against his brother. 22 I will execute judgment upon him with plague and bloodshed; I will pour down torrents of rain, hailstones and burning sulfur on him and on his troops and on the many nations with him. 23 And so I will show my greatness and my holiness, and I will make myself known in the sight of many nations. Then they will know that I am the LORD.'{Ezekiel 38: 14-23NIV} Now, the real Woe comes in:

Who is the Man Of Lawlessness?

Did not Jesus serve warning, that prior to his coming there would be some, teaching so close to the Truth that they would, if it were possible, mislead even the chosen ones?

24 "For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall give great signs and wonders, so as to mislead, if possible, even the elect." {Matthew 24:24 DT}

Did he not imply that some would be coming to our doors telling us, that the time had come; that Jesus was invisibly present? Did he not tell us not to believe them? Why, since he'd already told us in Matthew 24:14 that the good news would be preached, would he tell us not to believe someone preaching it?

8 He replied, "Don’t let anyone mislead you, for many will come in my name, claiming, ‘I am the Messiah, and saying, ‘The time has come!’ But don’t believe them." {Luke 21:8 NLT} He said, don't let ANYONE mislead you! Anyone covers a wide spectrum does it not? Did he expect us not to believe anyone preaching the good news of the kingdom? I think, that's exactly what he meant, due to the fact that preaching work would not be done by any of his true followers; since all he foretold to be on the scene was false Prophets. So who else would, or even could, be doing that work, but false Prophets?

Now since my idea in writing this article, is done with the purpose of exposing the Governing Body of the Watchtower Society, as a false Prophet; I feel it only fair to use their own New World Translation Bible, in showing why Jesus meant not to believe anyone who claimed to represent him, prior to his coming. The Apostle Paul will explain this matter for us:

"However Brothers, respecting the presence of our Lord Jesus Christ and our being gathered together to him, we request of you not to be quickly shaken from your reason nor to be exited either through an inspired expression or through a verbal message or through a letter As THOUGH FROM US to the effect that the day of Jehovah is here. I'll break off here to make a comment: Is it not true that when a witness arrives at your door, he/she, has a polished presentation, or as Paul said: "A VERBAL MESSAGE? Then you're presented with a Tract, Watchtower, or an Awake Magazine, Book or Booklet, Brochure, that constitute this LETTER Paul was making reference to? Do they also not make claim, that they represent the True Anointed Class, so this message and these letters have the appearance of coming from the True Anointed Class? That Paul was warning us about? Notice Paul's warning:

"Let no one seduce you in any manner, because it will not come unless the Apostasy comes first and the Man of Lawlessness gets revealed, the Son of destruction. He is set in opposition and lifts himself up over everyone who is called "god" or an object of reverence, so that he sits down in the Temple of The God publically showing himself to be a god." [2 Thessalonians 2:1-4}

This Man in question is set in opposition, in that he exalts himself over every Religious Body on earth, anything that is reverenced or worshipped. Exalting hmself so high by his lofty claims about himself, that he shows himself to be a god.

The governing Body of the Watchtower Society, maintains that their appointment to office of the Faithful Slave came in the year 1919, but the God who they claim they are the Organization of doesn't agree with them. Nor does his Son, nor does the Apostle John, who penned the Revelation that exposes their lie; for it clearly shows no appointments to any office at all have been handed out, even as yet; and will not be until the Christ actually does takes Kingdom Power; so they, if anything, have seriously jumped the gun by maintaining that they already have that appointment. {Revelation 2:26;11:18}

What other ways do they lift themselves up over everyone? By Maintaining that they, are "God's Organization," "God's Spirit directed Organization." "God's Channel of Communication." "The Faithful Slave." "The Anointed Class." "The Temple Class." "The Mother of all Christian's in their ranks." "Their Watchtower Magazine is God's principle teaching instrument." They have elevated themselves heaven high! They should know, it's a long drop to the ground from that height. Every high and lofty claim they have made will come back to haunt them, I'm sure!

They have put the Holy Spirit in the unemployment line, by telling everyone that their Watchtower Magazine is Jehovah's principle teaching instrument. Now! That really is sitting in the Temple of God! So, whose the Man of Lawlessness? You tell me!

This idea that they are Spirit Directed is really funny when you really look at it. With a 130 year record of failed predictions and false Prophecies, wouldn't it be more accurate to say: "Mis-directed Spirit Organization? Why blame Jehovah for that record?

Blame the one who is really responsible for it. The devil!

One has to admit! When they arrive at your door, they look really great! Very difficult to tell that they are not true Prophets of Jehovah God; but I'm thinking the Apostle Paul would have had their number; I don't think they'd have fooled him for one moment. Considering what he tells us next:

12"And I will keep on doing what I am doing in order to cut the ground from under those who want an opportunity to be considered equal with us in the things they boast about. 13 For such men are false apostles, deceitful workmen, masquerading as apostles of Christ. 14 And no wonder, for Satan himself masquerades as an angel of light. 15 It is not surprising, then, if his servants masquerade as servants of righteousness. Their end will be what their actions deserve."{2 Corinthians 11:12-15 NIV}

So! Who is He? You tell me! I don't, Wannabe-
