  What about Russell? Anybody know if he ripped that one off too? I'm pretty sure Bullinger regarded Alcyone/Pleiades as of some importance.

  And there's like 6 new guys on the GB. They're all in their 50s, I believe.

  Hey, Russell stole the Pyramid and Alcyone and other shit from Joseph Seiss, a Lutheran. Let's give credit where credit is due.

  You know, I'm no fan of Russell, but compared to the current organizarion doggerel, it's Tolstoy-level writing.

  How can any sincere JW who's actually read C.T.R.'s stuff honestly claim the man has/had ANYTHING to do with "Jehovah's Witnesses?"

  I guess that's why, when Christ returned invisibly in 1914, waited until Russell died to inspect the world's religions and THEN choose the Bible Students under Rutherford's tutelage.

  2nd grader was sent home from school after the class was asked to draw something relating to the holidays.

  he had been with his dad a couple of weeks before to a church function and saw these types of crosses on display.

  You know, not being in the WT anymore, you're no longer legally bound to toe the party line. I mean, if you really feel that way, I understand and respect where you're coming from, and that statement isn't entirely without merit.

  But you know what? For SOME people, miracle of miracles, it really is about the birth of the Saviour. Sincere people, I mean. If I was a sincere Christian, I would definitely want to celebrate my Saviour's birth... in my own special way of course.

  I mean, illusions are still entities, even from a purely conceptual standpoint.

  first, there is a disclaimer on the webiste that it is not an "official" lds website.

  however, what appears to be promoted is mormon based.. .

  why would a mormon based website title itself "upon the watchtower"?.
