we went today.

by hamsterbait inin the continuing court battle in australia, the legal counsel for the witchtower babble and trash religion shocked witless onlookers by saying the there is.
"no christian congregation of jehovah's witnesses in the state of victoria," or indeed the whole of australia.. hahahhahahahaha!.
at least they are not perjuring themselves as any fool can see that their congregations are not "christian".. check this on barb andersons thread!.

Teary, I honestly hope that one day you sit down, clear your head, and just read the Gospels without any preconceived notions. If you do so with an open heart I bet you anything you there will be some small part of you deep down somewhere that will force you to step outside of yourself for a moment, look at the Watchtower organization and all of the legalistic, corporate, beauracratic madness that has utterly consumed it, and it will all fall away like chaff from wheat - or scales from your eyes - and the only thing you'll be able to see is the radiant personage of Jesus of Nazareth, and that none of that stuff has a tinker's damn to do with Him.
It's happening, very slowly, one by one, to people in the Org, and that's why the GB is freaking out and losing control. Don't make the same mistake I did. Listen to His voice, drop the Watchtower/Governing Body/Faithful Slave, and run to him before you become an ever crustier, bitter-er old fart like me.

A 40something who "shockingly" partook in 1968 would be in his 80s now - older than most, if not all, of the fellas on the GB if I'm not mistaken (a couple of who, it's been reported, started partaking as teens).
What changed? THEY ALL FRICKIN' DIED OR WENT SENILE. Nobody knows what the hell is going on anymore because the GB is made up of yes-men with no direction, imagination, intelligence, charisma, passion, or much of anything else. What happens when you take a handful of guys who have never known how to do anything but follow orders and put them in charge of 7 million people?
Not a whole hell of a lot, it turns out.

Yes, Keyser Soze, who rode into Brooklyn on his sled Rosebud in 1914, right after he deboarded the spacecraft Alcyone Express which had just arrived from the Pleiades via wormhole (he had a window seat in the same aisle with Jehovah, Jesus, and V'GER)!
