i'm not saying i even agree with the current reasoning behind the 1914 date, but you can't argue that with jw's, but in my latest research and personal study, i ran into the kryptonite for the 1914 date.

Almost left out the scripture tying it together, Daniel 9:26 and 27, which I suggest you look in several bibles and interlinear translations, but it says in NWT this key phrase, (but the whole thing important to understand, and look in several translations), "he must keep the covenant in force for the many for one week; and at the half of the week (3.5 days, time times and 1/2 time, 42 months, 1260 days), he will cause sacrifice and gift offering to ceease. "and upon the wing of disgusting things there will be the one causing desolation; and until an exterminatio, the very thing decided upon will go pouring out also upon the one lying desolate."

NOW again look at Daniel 12:11 - "and from the time that the constant feature has been removed (daily sacrifice and gift offerings of Daniel 9:26,27) and there has been a placing of the disgusting thing causing desolation (that which is making worship unacceptable to God and desolate), there will be one thousand two hundred and ninety days. ) The 2nd half of the week of Daniel 9:26,27 and hence why also those extra 30 days. THEN after that week is over, when the WILD BEAST is in full power, why Daniel 11:12 says "Happy is the one who is keeping in expectation arrives at the one thousand three hundred and thirty five days!" Which means at the conclusion of this week, there is 45 days (from the scripture, actual time length is another matter).

I went beyond what I wanted to show, but I feel at ease showing this right now, so if anyone gets anything interesting out of this, or if any understanding of other things through this, please let me know.

The "bible year" is NOT the lunar OR solar year.

Read Rev 11:3 - "two prophets prophesy 1,260 days" = 360X3.5

11:2= "courtyard trampled 42 months" = 3.5 years

11:11 = "dead for 3 and 1/2 days"

12:6="women fed for 1,260 days"

12:14 = "fed in wilderness for time, times and 1/2 time" (THAT compared to vs 6 shows the bible considers a time as 1 year and 1 year as 360 days) NOW to show how there are 30 days added at the 7th year, in which that part was not known or neglected on the WT 1914 logic.......

Daniel 12:11 = "happy is the one who arrives at the 1,290 days"

Ez 4:5 = "390 days"

And again, I'm not saying I agree with the reasoning to hitting the 1914 date, and I'm not saying that 1944 is when the gentile times ended either, just showing 1914 still isn't scriptual no matter how you take it.

Sorry, 2 posts up, the 2nd half of the SEVEN years. So the first 3.5 years equals 1260 days and the next 3.5 years making it 7 years or 7 times had 1290 days for a total of 2550 days not 2520 days.

Sir82, yes typo. It's 5 days short, there are further corrections as time goes on, but that's N/A to this post. This post is just to prove that their reasoning and scriptures have avoided a few key scriptures showing that 30 years are to be added to the end of their 2520 years. (It shows the flaw on how 1914 using their logic still doesn't work)

I'll do a post another day with more details on the bible calendar.

If you look real close, you'll see that the scriptures I quoted, show that the 'prophetic' times and months HAD those extra 30 days. They are ignoring the fact that the PROPHETIC bible contains those extra days. Ez 4:5 (obvious a leap year) and Daniel 12:11 (1290 days INSTEAD of 1260 days, showing that the 2nd 1/2 of the 3.5 years had an extra 30 days for the leap year)

So this is something that CAN'T be argued with, using their OWN reasoning, the bible proves it wrong still.

This is a week in bible prophecy. Now if current 365x7=2550, then 360X6+390=2550 It's corrected every 7th year by having a 13th month. The WT did NOT factor in the correction at the 7th year. They (as shown in above article) since the first 3.5 years was at 360 days a year, assumed the 2nd 3.5 years would be the same, but it's not without that correction.

THere are further corrections too as time gets past that point, but initially it equals out to having done 365x7

360 itself is not part of even the Lunar calendar. It's from the bible. Look at the scriptures from the first post I did, which the WT uses to make 1914. They went with the bible calendar, but only partially, not adding the bible calendar 30 days for the 7th year which is used in all instances. God's way of counting time has been forgot. Also....look back at Noah's flood and counting the time. (Haven't had time to recheck it since this, but I "think" prior to the flood it was just 360 days a year, but the flood threw off the tilt of earths axis or something, in which to correct time had to add leap year/months/etc.

You see in the bible prophetic timing, the extra 30 days for the 2nd of the 7 days or weeks, during the 2nd 1/2 of time. You'll see 1260 days for the time times and 1/2 time or first 3 and 1/2 days, then you'll see 1290 days for the 2nd part of it. It's scattered throughout Ezekiel, Daniel and Revelation. Putting them all together to get the correct understanding. (For example revelation says 2 witnesses prophesy 42 months, then are killed and 3 and 1/2 days later raised up) 42 months is 3.5 years and 3.5 days = 7. Or 1260 days of women being fed in wilderness is 3.5 years. It's a case of knowledge of the whole bible and many prophecies to get understanding.

I know how the date was ORIGINALLY calculated, but you can't talk about that to JW's they will refuse to listen. Also.....It's in the pyramid, but using their 'current' bible proof, I just provided bible proof it's wrong.

Also cofty, that is NOT the lunar calendar (which only has like 354 or 358 days in a year), that's the bible prophetic calendar. I 'think' prior to Noah's flood it was 360 days then the flood somehow threw off time and had to add leap months/leap years etc.
