this will be the second "reward" that i have the privilege of sharing with you today.

if you recall, i have shared with you that virtually every time i've gone through a fairly grueling "battle" for our lord... i receive a "reward".

Thanks for sharing Shelby, and for the interesting context.

It seems when we interpret scripture from a religious (instead of spiritual) perspective we see the "god of religion's" attitude towards women.

I personally am hoping for women to rise up and make the unabridged "good news" so commonplace that men start diverting their energies from domination, aggression, supremacy and war to reconstructing our devastatingly dysfunctional society.

Did you know that in Australia we now have a 90% chance of getting and dying from Chronic Disease? This is due to our addiction to dysfunctional lifestyles and behaviours or actions. This in turn is due to low SQ (Spiritual Quotient). This in turn is due to ignorance of the healing message of the unabridged "good news". This in turn is due to the deliberate obfuscation and blinding of religion which persistently steals faith and salvation and perpetuates ignorance, addiction, blindness and dysfunction - by design.

Hey flipper! Although my mid-2009 cult exit was very traumatic as a 3rd generation born-in, I had already been building a new identity for 3½ years prior. I had a sense of passing through very distinct and typical stages in the journey, but was too embattled, driven and exhausted to be able to identify and record. There were intense dreams, but I did not record and cannot recall. I have invested a lot in finding spiritual and psychological stability. Exercise has also helped improve sleeping patterns - maybe that is why at this point I am not aware of my dreams. The next stage typically is recovering career wise and financially.

Matthew 23 outlines externalism and supremacist self-righteousness effectively practiced and promoted by the Watchtower.

Romans 3 and 4 outlines imputed righteousness (or gifts-righteousness) which is a core element of the "good news" most hated by the Watchtower clergy.

"future light" from march 2012 reaffirms that jesus has been indefinitely replaced by a ruling religious clergy class of mediators.. "those in the covenant are few, a mere 144,000. through them, millions from all nations will be blessed with everlasting life in an earthly paradise.

just about every topic and member is just bashing jw's and their teachings.

this site should be renamed "jwbashertrolls.net".

my jw mother in law is in town this week.

my jw wife and i went to my cousins new years party last night and came home after 2am while my inlaw watched the kids.

today she gets into a discussion with my wife that i overheard telling her we shouldn't have gotten home so late cuz she assumed her and my wife would go to the meeting today.

Hey marriedtoajw! I would go with rebel8's suggestion, as a sound foundation for escalation if any. You may want to openly record the discussion! This way MIL cannot afterwards claim she was not advised and warned! Make her answer to you and explain herself when she is on your territory.

as i've mentioned in a previous post, my wife has been sending mixed signals to me for years on what she does concerning violating jw rules.

what i didn't mention at the time was that she has also gone through gung ho sprees from time to time.

she is now insisting on taking the kids to the hall.

The chapter "Interacting with Dual Identities" in "Releasing the Bonds" is a MUST read, and MUST understand, and MUST use.

It would explain the inconsistency and damage to mental health caused by prolonged "cognitive dissonance".

To find peace she has to change either her behaviour or her core beliefs so that they are again in sync.

and with google, good content really is king, and is well rewarded.. as an example this google search today placed jwn sixth: "jehovah's witnesses" scandals.

this alone suggests jwn is making a real difference in one way or another in the lives of a significant number of people.. has anyone been tracking popular (wbt$) search terms and jwn google search rankings (at the time of search)?.
